I guess the closest to Rock songs would be DYKWYCA or Xscape. Its was just all good music to me. It's hard sometimes for me to judge what is pop or rock as they intertwine so much. Especially in MJs past releases. I don't know anything about "Hot fun" but what fans have dug up about it. It was never mentioned.

Absolutely. I'm just scared it will sound incomplete with random lyrics that doesn't make much sense. I love the song as song (per millionth time).

Did they keep Steve Lukather's guitar parts and solo in the new version of DYKWYCA?

I dont know ? who said that ? Its possible they did in parts but i don't remember hearing that. I guess they did what they needed to make the sound what they wanted, to update it. They were not going to leave it the same as the demo. We have the demo if we want to hear it as it was left in the vaults.

I ask this because one of polish journalist who hear the album at party, say they used some vocoder in that song :)

Hmm , I dont know. It seems I remember hearing it , but I'm not sure now. Do they have too when updating the song ? If they didnt' you will still be able to hear Steve's guitar solo in the demo. There is something for everyone.

I am no fan of "remixes" like they did with most on BOTDF,but Speed Demon was just so good, I couldn't believe I like it so much. They really did a nice job incorporating the original and making great instrumentals around it. It seemed like a proper song not a club remix. Beautiful stuff.
We'll see what they do with Xscape songs.

They don't have to keep anything. But I think that solo was awesome and also Steve is very respected guitarist and have played on many of Michael's albums.

I ok with that. Just asking. Also Steve Lukather is not on the Demo. He recorded it in 2010 for MICHAEL album.

Yes it is the same song. I'm Not sure how they will title it on the album? Because they didn't give us an official track list with how the names of the songs will be written. So that one, we can't be sure how they will title it. They may use both names or Just Chicago.

From some of Timbalands' recent well-known works, he makes a small feature whether it be an ad-lib or an actual rap. Like "Promiscous" - Nelly Furtado, "Apologize" - One Republic, "4 Minutes" - Madonna, etc. But I doubt that will be the case here.

I just read a few pages back, on one of the reviews that the solo rock guitar was heard on the track. So hopefully it is.

Am I the only one who has been listening to said producer(s) works to get somewhat of an idea of what the new album will sound like? In addition, trying to piece it with the reviews? :) Waiting and feeling excited in my own little way~
