They really, really need to put the recording dates on the linear notes! It's an imperative. A lot of these reviews are saying that the songs sounds like they were recorded before the 90's and have that old school MJ feeling. They will be pleasantly surprised when they learn that the majority of these songs were recorded for Invincible.

The bolded part made no sense. Michael still used the Hee-hees and Aoow on HIStory..

Hope i'm not sounding to pessimistic. Other than that, I hope the good reviews keep on coming :)

Well, maybe in order to please everyone we should re-name it EXSCKAPE :D

More seriously, if there are two different dates it may indicate that either they are two different songs or the same song but two different versions.

Legendary MJ said the mystery song is She Was Loving Me
while MJWN said it is Loving You

Still mystery....
They were not given the titles during the listening.

Yes. It's a composition full of music notes and lyrics which include the phrase: "lovin' me" .

Chicago = She Was Lovin' Me = Chicago (She Was Lovin' Me)

Lovin' You = Different Song than the above

Both songs are unheard until now. Chicago is from '99 Invincible Sessions. Lovin' You is said to be from the 80's & a mid tempo song.

Well.. I always like most of the things Timbaland did. I was excited that he was on board.
MJ & Timbo together in the studio - that would have been THE ultimate.

I knew he wouldn't screw this up! I can't wait to hear his stuff... And that Stargate are on board also, simply supi dupi! ;-)

It seems from the reviews all the songs are up tempo songs. Now, I haven't heard APWNN, but it seems to me that is a slow song. It should be interesting.

The only song these fan reviews describe is LNFSG. I think it will be the 1st single although I find it weird that in one of the reviews one fan said that they all chose the same song as a favourite one and that one will be the 1st single.

I hope it's not..

I don't know LA Reid much but have heard about him. I like the fact that he did know Michael and the respectful way he talks about him and his work. As fans we always say we just want Michael to be respected because he worked so hard on his music and for the person he was. Always coming back to it until he felt it was ready. I am really looking forward to it and I want to be surprised. I hope the people that heard the album will spread a good word. Michael wanted everyone to enjoy the music. I hope they will.

All these positive reviews are so nice to read!

Don't remember ever reading such positive reviews while MJ was alive. Too bad great artists have to die before they get the appreciation they deserve! :(

Anyway - I am looking so very much forward to the first single! - I have to work monday, but after that I have more than a week Easter holliday! - So if a single is released I will have lots of time to hear it over and over and over and over and over again - and one more time - and then hear it over and over and over and over and over again !!! :lol:

I have pre-ordered it - I'm from Denmark BTW. - When will the album be available to hear/download? Is it 00:00? Or when will it actually be available?

The first I really heard of LA Reid and his business practices was when justin bieber was first signed..

The first time I really started to pay attention to LA Reid and his music choices was when he signed Janet to Island/Def Jam for her "Discipline" album... I was loving the new direction he was taking her (I thought "Feedback" was her best single release in the last decade -- also produced by Rodney Jerkins) and her relationship with MTV was mended and so on and so on..

But then he and Janet had disagreements about what her second single should be (she and Jerkins wanted "Luv" and he wanted it to be "Rock With U").. Janet went ahead with LA Reid's choice and performed/promoted "Rock With U" several times and even filmed a innovative music video for it.. However "Rock With U" didn't make much of an impact for whatever reason and Janet began performing and promoting "Luv," much to the chagrin of LA Reid.

Eventually they had some sort of falling out and LA Reid released Janet from her contract (currently she is a free agent)...

At one point in a semi-recent filmed interview, LA Reid was asked who was the most difficult artist he's ever worked with, and after hesitating for a moment LA Reid shook his head and said "it had to be Janet Jackson."

Why do I bring all this up? Because as a Janet fan also, I was really disappointed in the way he treated Janet being the massive pop music star that she is.

But after reading all these great words from him about how he feels about MJ and his music and the obvious amount of dedication he's putting into this Xscape album, I couldn't be more excited about what's in store for us..

I think his heart is in the right place and the estate have made the right decision as to whom shall lead this entire project..

People trying to go back and forth figuring if the extra track is 'loving me'or 'loving you' whatever they are called.. I havent heard either and have not heard what they sound like so its all the same to me...

Either way its a song I havent heard that I look towar on hearing

Am I the only one who thinks that this talk of possible changes to the track list is a smokescreen to keep us guessing? I think it is just so that even if people who have heard the album leak the titles they can say "You can't be certain that song will be on it!" But I must say I applaud them for it. It's like waiting for Christmas when your a little child. I am ticking off the days but they can't go quick enough.

Onir, don't you think by all the positive we heard about LNFSG that you can relax about it. I couldn't believe it myself, even that it is on the album..
But.. Obviously they did something major good with it! and it was always a happy feel good song... With a nice beat i think it could turn out pure magic...

So, don't hope it's not the single!
Be excited that all who heard it are very positive about it ;-)

I think we ALL will be blown away!

The Admin on Malibu-Forum was also on Pre-Listining in L.A.

She will make a longer report when she is back in Germany but she still posted some things in the forum

Some we can not tell. Branca told us some great and exciting things.

Also what will be the first single. But we can not say. It should be played before the album release on the radio. But it will released as a single after the album-release.

BTW: She was deeply impressed from Branca who danced with her to Chicago. Branca was also in tears as he spoke about Michael.

Oh I forgot she also wrote that Branca again assured that they will never release another Cascio track.
