Now we are missing one track.. or Joe wrote it wrong?

The press release said a selection of the recordings in their original form, so I don't think they will have original versions for all 8 of the songs.

Now we get a completely interesting Album:
+ New fresh Mixes
+ All the Demos of the 8 Tracks
+ 2 Official Videos of the Singles maybe?!

+ No featuring-Track (which is authentic!) - no bieber, 50cent or any others
+ Perfect Marketing-Strategy with the new best Sony-Smartphone!
+ Very interesting Cover-Art! (Could have done a little better but it's nearly perfect)
+ Perfect ALBUM-Title! XSCAPE (They may heard the fanmade Title of "Escape" in the Fanbase and I think its a great futuristic Name-Change like: Christmas -> X-Mas; it sounds very uptodate!)
+ positive Effect of XSCAPE is that as mentioned before XSCAPE is a newly-created word, so if you look for the word XSCAPE anywhere on the internet - maybe @Google - you will find immediately information about the Album! ;)

+ The list about positivity goes on and on...

+ A side note: I also think they choose the Release-Date because some weeks after the release they will give MJ again attention on the media besauce of his 5th-Year-of-Death (sadly)
-> but it will have again positive effects on the album sales for sure!

Can't wait, I have never ever thought I could thank SONY! But now I can!
Its our time to make publicity for this Album too, but don't annoy your friends with too much information, SONY will work on the rest! :)

Oh, that Vogel... He missed so many unreleased tracks, I've read his book and I think he doesn't know what he's talking about himself. He was mostly wrong about unreleased songs.

I think so because there will be 16+1 Tracks on the Deluxe-Album ;)

I think the thing is, a lot of us have known about the album (me being one). I knew about most tracks except Chicago, and as well another album will be coming out soon expect it within 2015 - 2017 At least one is all I know about. But hopefully Chicago is Chicago 1945! The one thing is that the cover is actually from a photoshoot that they did for This Is It!

The FULL length press report directly from Epic clearly states that there will be demos for all the brand new tracks.

Chicago 1945 is not on the album. Timbaland produced She Was Loving Me and apparently re-named it Chicago.

I haven't yet read an article that distinctly says the difference between She Was Loving Me and Chicago. Plus, Damien Shields's article on the track says that it opens with a line that has the word Chicago in it. Maybe the two songs ARE the same... Which leaves just one track unaccounted for. And for the love of god it better not be a leaked one.

Perfect. Let's all keep in mind that Michael's partially complete songs could very well be reformed into new songs. Hollywood Tonight is only partially complete, and that one was finished. So there is still hope for the future.

Potential single "Slave To The Rhythm" is a floor-filler for a new generation whilst 1999's RnB soaked "She Was Lovin' Me" (originally considered for the 2001 Invincible album) has echoes of "The Way You Make Me Feel."

Two other songs, "Chicago" and "Blue Gangster" will also remind you of previous Jackson offeringsbut both tracks benefit from newly enhanced production and remind us of the fact that Michael was keen to remain relevant to the emerging hip-hop generation.

Thats from one of the reviews. So it pretty much confirms Chicago and She Was Lovin Me are BOTH on the album.

Yup and you can bet they are saving some of those partial demos for the inevitable duets album too.

Very true, and honestly I wouldn't turn down a duets album. It depends on who they recruit. Now Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Siedah Garrett, maybe some rappers/singers Michael wanted to work with or have worked with? That would be fine. But we all know that won't happen and they'll call up Justin Bieber and Beyoncé and Lady Gaga and put another dent in his legacy.

But in any sense, I'm sticking with my statement that there are between fifty and eighty releasable songs. Because let's be honest--"nearly complete" is about 85-90% complete. "Partially complete" is 60-80%. And HT was only about 65, given that the bridge and third verse were missing. Anything is possible.

The Bieber and GaGa bit yeah but believe it or not stranger things have happened, before Michael passed he did indeed want to re-record one of his classic duets with Beyonce. :bowling:

Erm, not quite sure about that one. I mean I don't hate Beyoncé. I just think she overdoes it sometimes and honestly may try to outdo Michael, which will end up sounding forced rather than intimate. Jesus though, lol
