didn't MICHAEL sell 3million copies worldwide and almost 1mil copies in the us? i hope Xscape can do better than that.
so this is the worldwide sales figure? does it also include digital album sales? i thought LG artpop is the best selling album of 2013. in any case, it just shows how bad the market is now.
Artpop only sold about 700 000 copies in the US. The market is really bad now. Like I said even compared to 4 years ago when "Michael" was released. These were the best selling albums in the US in 2013:
Billboard's top-selling albums, based on Nielsen SoundScan U.S. data
1. Justin Timberlake, The 20/20 Experience (2,427,000)
2. Eminem, The Marshall Mathers LP 2 (1,727,000)
3. Luke Bryan, Crash My Party (1,521,000)
4. Imagine Dragons, Night Visions (1,402,000)
5. Bruno Mars, Unorthodox Jukebox (1,399,000)
6. Florida Georgia Line, Here's to the Good Times (1,350,000)
7. Drake, Nothing Was the Same (1,344,000)
8. Beyoncé, Beyoncé (1,301,000)
9. Blake Shelton, Based on a True Story (1,109,000)
10. JAY Z, Magna Carta... Holy Grail (1,099,000)
World wide sales are always trickier to tell. WW sales numbers are usually estimates.
