Is it too early to declare this song a hit in the US (the hardest market to please for MJ)? I mean #5 in the US....Just below Happy (the #1 song for the past 5+ weeks). I will be happy with a Top 10 entry on the Hot 100 in the coming weeks.

I am very satisfy with LNFSG as the lead single (I was hesitant at first because of Paul Anka's douchey behavior towards MJ in 2009), but let's face it the general public is loving the song and we all know it is not the strongest one on the album. They will go bananas when they hear Blue Ganster, DYKWYCA...

Very pleased. I think the main difference is having a music industry veteran in LA Reid at the helm of the project. Branca is a lawyer & McClain, well he might be a bit out of touch because of his health issues, they might not know what works as well as LAReid.

Bravo LA Reid, JT, Timbaland, Branca, McClain, Usher & co on a successful 1st single launch.

I can't help to notice that this project isn't about money, but about love and reuniting. In the Netherlands both the album as well as the JT version is doing well! The single is at #2 and the deluxe version of xscape is at #7!! And that is just in 24 hours!

Yeah, I'm a bit surprised by the UK. There are so many MJ fans there, even the Michael album singles were the most successful there. (Normally the US is harder to impress, but they responded well this time.) But hopefully they will catch up.
