would you like to see a biopic about Janet's life and career

in the years to come would u be interested in seeing a biopic about life as a child star in tv show to getting involved in the music industry as a struggling artist at the beginning under her father control then meeting jimmy jam and terry kewis and how her career took off
 
It's not somethign i'm anxious about but it would be interesting. There is alot that could be mentioned.

-being born into a musical family
-growing up with her brothes being famous & having problems at school
-her father making her perform/joining her brothers on stage
-her acting career
-living in michael's shadow when thriller expoded
-her marriage and divorce
-her trying to find herself and makeing a name for herself
-firing her father/ control
-her adult solo career/ breaking records
-her secret marriage
-the superbowl/ her career taking a stumble
-her relationship with JD
-her brother's passing
-finding comfort in her life, becoming a secure confidant women looking forwards to the future
 
I wouldn't be able to handle it because she went to so many changes in her life. Yes i times I go hard on Janet but she been through a hole lot especially during the Rhythm nation era if she drops a book it wil be on the best sellers list from the beefs she had to the drama she dealt with Ms. Janet live that's all i am going to say

Nope, I wouldn't be interested. Although Janet has had an interesting career, I personally don't find it interesting enough to comprise an entire biopic. It's been basically "across-the-board" in my opinion.

I mean, small town girl, makes good, dumps druggie husband, and takes control of career from a bully parent. Haven't we seen that movie already?

Maybe a biopic regarding Jennifer Hudson (somewhere down the line) would be MORE interesting. (Now that's a story which comes with a HUGE amount of drama.) I don't know, just a thought!

If it was done in the right way then yes :D, why isn't there a need for a Janet biopic? she's had a great career, coming from out of her families shadow, and becoming a global icon, then the whole superbowl thing, there would be lots of great stuff to include in it. :D

the way you write that, it comes across as a Michael story with Janet as a side order. but..hey..in reality, Michael mentionings would be the only reason the vast majority audience would be interested.

She can't even sell 130 000CDs and you expect regular folks to pay 10$ to see a Janet biography? Some people need a reality check...but I am not gonna be the one giving it to you today.

it's not going to happend , I don't think Janet ever will authoirze it , but if she did I would be interested .

and I don't know why half the people in this thread for real even bothering replying, other than being bitter.

dumb sacaramis, when most biopics aren't made to be blockbusters to begin with. people see biopics as mostly for artistics purpose, and usally the more drama in the artists life the the better it sells.
 
She hasn't had enough drama in her life to warrant a biopic.

For someone not interested you could have fooled me. Don't hate janet for living. She is a legend whether you like her or not, she has broken records and she still sells. What cd of her didn't selll at least 100,000? The one who needs a reality check is you.

perhaps..or.perhaps not..as indeed, use of the word sibling seems to be a necessity, here, from your post..
sibling, indeed doesn't guarantee commonality. Janet shouldn't need that word 'sibling'. but this thread was a question posed to fans. and fans have a right to feel as they feel. if they are fans of Janet, they are fans of Janet. but for those who are fans of Michael, and are going to see this because of Michael, if it happened, well..no one can control how fans feel. it's the media and curious onlookers and fans alike, for the most part, who ask and think about Michael..ask Janet about Michael, etc, more than they asked Michael about his siblings. the majority of fans and media show the interest in Michael, and if they give that impression, they shouldn't be penalized for that. that is the definition of 'fan'. people are going to be fans of whoever they are fans of, for whatever reason they wish..and they are going to not be, or stop being fans of whoever they're going to stop being fans of, for whatever reason they wish, in the real world. fans are not beholden to anybody, for their likes and dislikes, or for the reasons they like or dislike an entertainer or other individual.

Her latest cd number ones has sold under 100 000 copies last time it was mentioned in the press, a few months back.


if you can show me otherwise, I will gladly update my post...to 101 000.

No qualms about my utter disgust of Janet.
 
they're talking about the uk, but it was still close enough to be certified gold, and I think it probably did cross the 100,000 by now.
