Yes I helped a baby bluejay and the momma attacked me :bugeyed but I rescued her baby and momma and daddy still are in my yard to this day bathing and being fed by me. They bounce up and down when I whistle at them.:wub: It's actually not true that they will be rejected by their momma if you touch them. If the baby has feathers it may just be fledging the nest and it takes a couple days for their wings to get strong so they hop on the ground but if you see a baby on the ground with no feathers, it looks naked, you should try to put it back into the nest because it's not ready to fledge yet or call animal rescue to help you.
