Maradona is a horrible coach, he barely scraped through qualifying and he left world class players like Cambiasso at home, God knows why. He may be a legendary player but he certainly won't go down in history books for his coaching skills. Anyway, with so many great players as Argentina have I'm sure they'll do well despite their coach and his crazy ideas lol.

Totally agree with you Linda! He isn't qualified to be a coach...I just don't like him.Anyway , I hope we do a good competition despite him

Well, we won our first game vs. Denmark so we got the 3 points in the pocket It was not a brilliant game but that was to be expected against a well-organized defensive team like Denmark. Now I hope we avoid Italy in the 1/8 final, they'll be out for revenge for what happened in 2008

I thought Italy could have done much better if it weren't for Lippi's poor tactics. He played Cannavaro who was the man behind the goal and many other threatning mistakes. He played Marchisio on the left when he's best suited in the center of the midfield. He played the useless Gilardino. When he played Mauro and Di Natale things were much better. Next time, he should start Pizzini in attack, Maggio on the right, anyone in place of Cannavaro, and use Mauro, Marchisio, and Di Natale as needed. Lippi crippled his side.

I know, they did my head in, but I think I'm getting used to it now.

It was on the news yesterday that some of the football players have complained about them, and some even said that they can't sleep because of them.

The FIFA head said that he could ban them and he's thought about it, but it would cause a bad feeling and possibly a backlash from fans, so he won't. - Probably the right decision, we don't want drama & bad feeling between anyone there.

I did not like the game today of Brazil. It was a strange game , but maybe that is the first game and probably the players were tense and nervous about the premiere. Kaká was disappointing, he was out of tune and slow. Let's see the next games. Sunday's more! :wild:

In '86 we almost didnt qualify, and the rest is HIStory.by the way, that time coach is consider one of the bests coachs from Argentina.

Yeah they deserved the draw from their defensive performance in the first half, thought they slacked a little for the second goal, eight should have cleared it but maybe he was afraind of socring an o.g.

Man I wish Ronaldinho and Ronaldo were here. Ronaldinho is the best playmaker in the World while Ronaldo is the World Cup legend. I can't believe number 9 is given to Fabiano after it was Ronaldo's.

Dunga (Brazil manager) just dropped him out. He don't think he's good anymore or worth it. Bad move IMO.
