For real, we all have choices in life, Jack Gordon may or may not have forced her to say the things she said, but at the end of the day she DID'NT have to do it, it was her own brother for christ sake! she made her OWN choice. Good that MJ forgave her, but it still does'nt erase what she did. She can't blame everything on Jack Gordon, she has to take some responsibility for her own actions too.
 
I think it's quite unfair to try and say Latoya should take responsibility for what happened back then when she said her husband forced her into doing it, I'm sure any woman would do what he said if he had done this to them:

Even though I don't support this book and the way she is out to tell how MJ was murdered, yet only doing so in this book when she should obviously go to the authorities with whatever evidence she has (assuming that she actually has any, which I don't think she does), but I don't hold her responsible at all for what she said in the past.
 
I think much of her apparent mental imbalance nowadays is owed to those abusive years. Won't comment on her needing to take responsibility for her words and actions, I've no idea what may be going on in her soul, when she closes the door and turns off the lights to sleep.But not only was she obviously physically abuse din the past, but also mentally and emotionally abused and brainwashed. Have said it before once, but in many of her public appearances during those 10 years, she often looked drugged up, including during the infamous Playboy photo and video shootings. She obviously wasn't well mentally. And that's why I'm looking at her with a slightly compassionate eye, even though she always had a penchant for gossip and the like. I think nowadays, again, she seems to be unwell mentally, and what's worse is that she doesn't seem to realize that.

^Yes, it was a Twitter competition and someone won a signed personalized copy as promised.
 
^She didn't give it away. Church of La Toya bought an extra one at a booksigning and got it personalised for the winner.
