Who Would Like a Separate Section for News About Michael's Children?

Would it be possible to have a section we can read about any real news
about Michael's children: Prince, Paris, and Blanket, without having to click on this 2300 section?
I, personally, don't want to read about MJ's siblings and parents.
Who would like news about Michael's children included in the regular MJ News section? I would.

Question: How can this be make into a question with a poll section?
I don't know how to do that.

There's not that much regular news about them to create a whole new section. I think it fits in here. They are members of the Jackson family, they're not Michael Jackson.
 
Don't click on the threads you don't like, it's that simple.

Why should they get their own section? They're part of the Jackson family and they are not celebrities with a career so it's not like there is news about them that doesn't involve Michael. I am sure there are many websites fans have created dedicated to them that you can visit if you want to only read/post all about them.

I think it's only fitting for them to get their own section...whether there's a lot of news or not is irrelevant.

In case they stumble on this site, I don't want them to think they are rotten like the rest of these greedy folks. MJ raised them away from the other Jacksons, so I see nothing wrong in creating a separate section for his babies or keep the news in the Michael Jackson section. They are an extension of him.

ETA: a lot of folks brought some really great points. Let's respect MJ's wishes and give the kids some privacy. Even when MJ's own "family" doesn't care about his wishes, I think we should.

I'm pretty sure the children don't think that their own family are rotten. You're letting your personal opinions get in the way and you're acting like your opinions are fact. Michael chose Katherine to look after his children. I guess you're one of the people who go through all the Jackson threads and insult them for any reason you think of. Usually things like "They are using Michael for money!" or "Janet, that damn greedy liar, she is nothing compared to Michael!"

This 23000 Section is full of Negative Energy that I don't even want stories about them posted here. :no:
 
I personally don't think it is necessary. Every thread has a title. If you want to read just about the children, you will know which threads to go in by reading the headings.

And, if the children were to ever come to this board, after looking to see what is said about their father, do you not think they would naturally want to see what is said about the rest of their family? Separating the information is not going to prevent them from seeing when family members are maligned. If members are so worried about that aspect, the only way to prevent that would be for members here to stop using EVERY thread as a way to attack family members whether it is related or not. And for members to be more cautious in HOW they post their information. If members cannot do this, then a concern for what PPB reads should be a nonissue.

1. Perhaps a younger generation of Jacksons will arise who will evoke some positive posts.

OR My preferred outcome:
2. If the negativity continues MJJC staff will change their minds.

 
i thought any important news prob gets posted in the mj section anyway or the case section if its about that.seeing as pics of them arent allowed on here theres no real news about them anyway except what i said above
 
First of all I think elusive is right.

Second of all my personal opinion is underage persons should never be discussed too wild at all.

Third everybody should always keep in mind that the children already now obviously had and most likely do have internet access and very well can read here!!! The more it's said they don't... the more they will know how to get access. It turned out always yet the way that the children in Hayvenhurst are not really properly supervised etc. by any adults.
When Michaels children yet were those not acting overly stupid (although I don't think movies of Blanket and Paris in their age would have made it to youtube during Michaels living years ever) then that's because they had a responsible parent for the most of their years.
Let's hope for the best... and pray.

I'm not comfortable with the idea of discussing Michael's children. Michael went to great lengths to keep them protected and I feel this should be honoured even though he isn't around anymore and they make more public appearances now. If there is a news story then it either will go in here or in the main section. There isn't enough news for it to generate its own section anyway.

Agree.

Besides, why should we, in a way, exploit them by posting news and mentionings about them, just because the atmosphere on here is negative (which it is)? All one has to do is not visit these negative threads, or search about them someplace else.

Michael's decision and their remaining privacy should be respected, they are simply hildren who want to live their childhood normally, and they don't need following. Not via MJJC. I think it was once mentioned how he'd visit this place at times and say he liked it that it respected his privacy or the privacy of his children, or sth along those lines. ...

I agree with all three of you.. Like dome one mentioned there are websites dedicated to them, so you could look there.

yeah i too feel odd talking about michaels kids i remember them beiing babies this is gonna sound odd but i feel the same way i feel when grown ups not in my family talk about my nieces and nephews it creeps me out
 
Michael's children are more of a celebrity than certain Jackson siblings, when the phuck did Rebbie have a career? What makes her special? When the heck did ANY of Michael's siblings have a career in the past 20 years with the exception of Janet?
I'm against the idea of Michael's kids having their own section, not because I think they are not worthy enough as some here think, (yet try to sugarcoate their feelings) but b/c it's not appropiate. Michael shielded his children from the public, including us. I don't wanna discuss their every move, everytime they step outside. Quiet frankly, it's still to early for that, imo.
Michael's children are the face of this so called family, all the focus is on them, and will forever be on them, but it's too early to dissect them

Who are those 'some of them'? Your insinuations - no, accusations, are preposterous - you often do that, and you know it. Who here thinks/has said Michael's children are not Worthy of being mentioned? It is inappropriate, because it is, because they are children, Michael - and this doesn't even have to do with him only - wanted his children Not in the spotlight, but wanted them to live the childhood all children deserve.

What does having an active career have to do with discussing members of the Jackson family? NOTHING. You are obviously biased in your opinion as you seem to hate the Jacksons, and to answer your question:

Rebbie has released 4 albums; in 1984, 86, 88 and 98. So in the past 20 years, she has released an album and a single with the label MJJ Productions.

Tito has released 2 albums over all, both in the past 20 years, 1 in 2003 and the other in 2011.

Jackie has released 2 albums. In the past 20 years, he has released a single (in 2010).

Jermaine has released 13 albums, 1 of them was released in the past 20 years (1991).

Marlon has released 1 album, but it was not released in the past 20 years.

Randy has released 2 albums, neither released in the past 20 years.

La Toya has released 11 albums, 5 released in the past 20 years and another on the way.
 
we all know what Michael wanted for his children NORMAL CHILDHOOD ,so lets give them that ,they already have lot of stuff in their plate .at least we can do what Michael wished for his children ,there is no need to act like jackson family here ,we are better than that.

For real, besides my neighbor next door releases albums as well through his own label.. releasing albums does not equal having a career. :punk:

I just can't tolerate 2300 anymore.
 
I think it can be done with respect, of course. People here are great and I am sure they would not discuss kids in a inapropriate manner. PPB are already famous even if they want it or not.
I will not be hypocritical and say " Leave those kids alone !!!!!!! " and then watch their pictures. I like to see how are they doing. I see them as a part of Michael and that is why I care for them. But..I am fine with the situation.

Yes it does. They are singers, releasing albums is a huge part of having an active musical career.

You didn't know about those albums because of your hatred for the Jacksons, you decide to ignore them all together. Except for looking on their threads everyday just to hate on them and start arguments.

And I know that a lot of the general public don't know about Invincible, HIStory, Off The Wall or even Dangerous. Hardly any of the general public know about BOTDF either.

I don't understand why you are so difficult, you are an adult and if you can't stop yourslef from viewing threads you don't have interest in you have a problem. If there is news about Michael's children that doesn't really have something to do with him like them going to a lakers game or going to univerasl studios and etc it should be posted here, they are not Michael. Try to segregate them all you want, at the end of the day they're Michael's kids which mean they're Jacksons. Deal with it. I really don't understand your urge to give them another section other than your lack of self control, it doesn't seem to make any sense especially since they don't have careers of their own and they're just kids.
 
There was a thread here about Prince & his Uncle Jackie attending the Lakers Basketball game..in this section, but it was deleted.. yet the story appeared on the MJJC News part of this site (not forum) complete with picutes of Prince.. so how come it's not allowed on the forum part of the MJJC website, but it is allowed on the News part?

Maybe if we could keep on topic for a start, there wouldn't be such a venomous attitude in the threads in 2300.

Somebody mentioned Michael liked this place because it respects his privacy and that of his children. Why on earth would that go out of the window just because he's no longer physically here. It wasn't done to please him, it was done out of sheer respect and that is the long and short of it.

Therefore, there will not be a section about the kids and whatever 'news' it is that is meant by this thread. When they come of age, by all means. But for now and the forseeable future, it's a no.
