Whitney Houston's Daughter Found Unresponsive, Taken to Hospital

11:45 AM PT -- There are reports that Bobbi Kristina was taken off life support ... but TMZ has been told by sources close to the family that these claims are absolutely false.
We are also told that Bobbi Kristina's grandmother Cissy has still not seen her but plans are in place to get her to Emory University Hospital as soon as possible.

Bobbi Kristina Brown's family has been gathered around her since she was hospitalized on Saturday after being found unconscious in the bathtub of her suburban Atlanta townhome.

Whitney Houston's only child is now at Emory University Hospital and is still fighting for her life, as a family statement said on Monday.

Nothing has changed, despite reports that are popping up and painting a more serious picture.

Fox News reported Wednesday that the situation is dire. "It's now a matter of when the family wants to let go and accept that she's pretty much not going to make it," a source told FOX411. "They've left it up to the family as to how long they want to keep her alive."

People magazine is also reporting that a doctor told Brown's family on Wednesday that nothing more could be done. "Everyone is coming to the hospital to say goodbye," said a family member.

But Bobby Brown issued a statement late Thursday denying these reports.

"If we issued a statement every time the media published a false report regarding this matter, that's all we would be doing 24 hours a day. This is false, just as is the vast majority of the other reporting that is currently taking place," he said, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

A source close to the family tells USA TODAY that it's wrong to say the family is gathering to say goodbye, because the family has been there since the beginning, so nothing is any different today for them.

Also, Brown is "not brain dead," as has been reported.

And, as for other stories saying that the Houston family is feuding with Bobbi Kristina's dad, Bobby Brown? Those aren't true either. They "are NOT fighting," says our source.​
 
It's such a tragedy! I'm praying for this young lady!

Hating the media which can't leave her and her family alone not even now, giving them the feeling everybody is waiting for her death... that's as ugly as media business can be. We don't need such, we all don't!

The circumstances surrounding BK’s injuries are suspicious to say the least. I’m hearing the ex-boyfriend who has an extensive rap sheet including drug possession with intent to sell and violent assault found her. It could be just an accident or attempted suicide but money makes unscrupulous people do terrible things as we saw with Michael. I hope there was no foul play involved in what happened.

There is an active criminal investigation underway in Georgia in the Bobbi Kristina case ... it centers on possible foul play and the target is her boyfriend ... TMZ has learned.
Law enforcement sources tell us ... Bobbi Kristina had certain injuries that have piqued their interest. We do not know the nature of the injuries. Multiple sources tell TMZ there is a history of violence between Bobbi Kristina and boyfriend Nick Gordon.
We're told police are looking into a possible altercation more than an hour before Bobbi Kristina was found submerged in a bathtub.
We're told Max Lomas -- the friend who discovered Bobbi Kristina in the tub -- arrived at around 9 AM last Saturday. He says he hung out with Nick but did not see Bobbi Kristina. He was told she was in the bedroom. Nick wandered away and Max says he didn't pay attention to his whereabouts.
The cable guy showed sometime after 10 AM and Max says he let him in -- Nick was nowhere to be seen. The cable guy said he needed access to the bedroom so Max let him in and discovered Bobbi Kristina in the tub. He screamed for Nick, who ran in and administered CPR.
We're told Max claims Nick allegedly cleaned up the home and removed blood stains.
Cops interviewed both Max and Nick and they want to debrief Max again, but our law enforcement sources say Max's lawyer insisted on immunity before he spoke again. We're told as of Friday morning Max hadn't gotten immunity or talked to cops.
Our sources say Nick Gordon has also lawyered up. We could not reach Nick for comment.

Roswell Police Chief Rusty Grant told Winne that police are still conducting a thorough investigation into the medical emergency involving Brown and police are "going to follow the evidence and see where it leads us."

A source told Winne there are two search warrants; one for Bobbi Kristina's home and a second one for computers, phones, iPads, routers and other electronics.

Eta - sorry elusive, just read barbee's post. Hadn't realised x17online were the first online website to mention mj going to hospital, 20 mins apparently before tmz. Really big scoop, have they ever said how they were the first? Tmz got all the hits and kudos i guess due to being a bigger player.

Wait. I'm not saying that TMZ is now a reputable news source. But that's the time they went on my radar for the first time.
They officially broke the story of Michael's cardiac arrest by paying x17 for the story. They pay and have informants with police, hospitals and court rooms. And contracts with all these paparazzi companies. Probably lots more. People call them with stories and incriminating videos and audio tapes for money all the time.

Watch how many times the Real mainstream news now use them as a source.
They're still scum and don't always report things accurately, but the real news has been going the same path since the middle 90's.
Yellow journalism is mainstream now. I wish people would wake up.

"The integrity of the events that led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina must remain uncompromised. Various members of the family have provided media interviews, however, none of them are approved visitors to see Bobbi Kristina. None of them have firsthand knowledge of Bobbi Kristina’s treatment and the medical staff at Emory University Hospital has not communicated with them."

"In particular, Jerod Brown aka Jerod Carter aka YF Kennedy, continues to makes statements and appear on television, however, he has not had any communication with Bobby Brown or the Houston family," the statement continues of Brown's cousin, who has been posting updates on his Facebook page and set up a public vigil in Bobbi's honor. "He must be disregarded. Please do not attend any 'meet and greet' organized by Jerod Brown as he is unable to provide access to Bobbi Kristina or information on her condition. This is a criminal investigation and we do not need this side show."

Bobby Brown added his own words to the statement, saying of his daughter's health problems, "We continue to request privacy in this matter. We thank everyone that supports Bobbi Kristina and God is hearing our prayers."

It's been almost two weeks since Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unresponsive in her Roswell, Georgia home.

Her partner, Nick Gordon, hasn't spoken about the incident until now. The man who has been dating Brown for the better part of three years issued a statement through his attorney Randy Kessler.


Kessler first shot down reports that Gordon was going to take legal action to see Brown in the hospital, then added Gordon's "only concern is the recovery of Bobbi Kristina. He remains in constant prayer for his companion and he hopes to be reunited with her soon."



Gordon, 25, is not officially family or married to Brown, 21, as reported shortly after her incident.


Gordon and Brown had told reporters previously they had wed last year, but Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC, legal counsel for Brown's father, Bobby Brown, told ABC News earlier in the month: "To correct earlier reports, Bobbi Kristina is not and has never been married to Nick Gordon."


Gordon and Brown got together romantically shortly after the death of her mother, Whitney Houston, in 2012. Before that time, Gordon lived with Houston and her family for almost a decade.


Brown was found face down in her bath tub on Jan. 31 by Gordon and a friend Max Lomas, according to police.

She was taken to North Fulton Hospital, but then moved to Emory University Hospital days later.


Roswell Police also confirmed earlier this week that Brown's incident at her home is classified as a criminal investigation. That has always been the case, a spokesperson said in a statement on Wednesday.


"The Roswell Police Criminal Investigation Division, who is investigating the incident, conducts criminal investigations," Lisa Holland, the Roswell public information officer, said in a statement to ABC News. "The incident has always been under criminal investigation and has not been reclassified as a criminal investigation. Criminal investigations may or may not result in criminal charges being brought against individuals."


Brown has been surrounded by family, including her father Bobby Brown, who has continued to ask for privacy while they monitor her condition.


"God is hearing our prayers," Brown told ABC News in a statement. "We continue to request privacy in this matter. We thank everyone that supported the vigil for Bobbi Kristina."

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only daughter of the late singer Whitney Houston, has been moved into hospice care, nearly five months after the 22-year-old was found unresponsive in a bathtub of her home, her family announced in a statement Wednesday.

"Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition has continued to deteriorate," her aunt and co-guardian, Pat Houston, said. "As of today, she has been moved into hospice care. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God's hands now."

Brown has been in treatment and unresponsive since she was found in a bathtub of her Roswell, Georgia, home on Jan. 31. Her grandmother said she has "irreversible" brain damage. Hospice care focuses on providing comfort to patients with terminal conditions, rather than trying to cure them.

Just came over as breaking AP alert: Bobbi Kristina has passed away.

I just feel so sad but at the same time thankful she's finally with her mother now.

(I just keep picturing the toddler on stage with Whitney, and how much Whitney adored her).
 
I just saw the alert via Atlanta's ABC affiliate, WSB-TV (channel 2). Such a sad situation and I feel sorry for Bobby Brown! People have been saying hateful things about him and towards him since Bobbi was found unresponsive in January and that's uncalled for and tacky. He's facing a parent's nightmare; burying a child.

My condolences to Bobby and the rest of Bobbi Kristina's family.

I live in Atlanta and WSB-TV has been keeping the updates about Bobbi regularly. I saw it announced on Whitney Houston's Facebook page before the news outlets, but didn't know if the link to her page would paste here. It's heartbreaking and I can't imagine how Bobby's feeling right now. I had hoped she could recover fully, but the odds weren't in her favor.

Now that's she's gone the criminal investigation into her injuries may be upped to a homicide case. The person of interest is still her boyfriend/husband.
