Whitney Houston Has Passed Away

This is so unreal! its like deja vu all over again!

I loved this woman as an artist, maybe not in the same league as MJ, but appreciated her brilliant voice so much. Can't believe we have found ourselves in this space again.:no:

This is the saddest celeb death for me after MJ's. Whitney was (I can't believe I'm saying was) such an incredible talent and seemed like a beautiful person!

I'm SO SORRY and SADDENED to hear this.

I don't even know what to say.

This is surreal.
 
Very sad. It is hard to read the negative slants of the reports though. I did not need to hear about how her career was affected by drugs at this time.
 
RIP Whitney Houston :( Saw her a couple of years ago at The O2. Amazing Show xXx

I know this just like when MJ died. Such a tragic & unexpected loss. EVERYONE is grieving around the world. So sad :(
 
Another sad sad Day for the world...Whitney will be so greatly missed..:boohoo: what a shame...
 
It reminds me of how much great talent came out of the 80s. I hope her daughter and family keep strong at this time.

I found it more annoying how one person on CNN talked about how people were shocked, but not surprise because of her drug history. Seriously, he doesn't speak for me and I was very surprise, especially since she seemed to have finally turned the corner. They even already have their drug 'experts' saying this and that.

God, is it that hard to wait for a cause of death before we go back on the drug bandwagon. Is it too much to give her the benefice of a doubt?

I'm shocked. This is a very sad day. My heart goes out to Whitney's family and friends. Especially her daughter, Bobbi Kristina.

Dionne Warwick and Cissy Houston spoke with Whitney Houston by phone just before she died and say Whitney seemed fine ... TMZ has learned.

Whitney's mother, Cissy Houston, spoke with her daughter 25-30 minutes before she died and nothing seemed unusual ... sources tell TMZ. We're told they talked about attending the Clive Davis pre-Grammy party.

Dionne Warwick, ?Whitney's cousin, called as well ... several hours before Whitney died ... to make sure they were sitting at the same table at Clive's party. And again ... there were no signs of trouble.

The people in touch with Dionne say she is inconsolable adding, "She is an absolute mess."

As for Cissy, we're told she is "hysterical."

Sorry you had to listen to this at this time. I only saw the reports at the top of the thread and that was enough. Gone are the days when the dead received some respectful coverage for at least 24 hours. However some people receive more respectful coverage than others.

It reminds me of when Oxman ran to the press to say how Michael died before the autopsy report was done.
 
This is just such sad, sad news...so shocking. :(

ya know for once id love to see TMZ miss a story. They are so one sided and their opinions are completely stupid and baseless. No one knows how she died or what happened. So we have no reason to think anything yet. I Pray it wasn't drugs. But we just don't know. This isn't the same as Michael Nothing about this is "Just like Michael". I will miss Whitney she was a wonderful singer and a wonderful woman. I just hope shes happier now then she has ever been she is among friends now.

Yeah I was watching CNN and they were in a way trying to make a comparison but I guess because of the age. I agree this is not the time to be assuming the cause of death.

No, we don't know how she died, it doesn't sound like drugs to me as her mother spoke to her 25-30 minutes before.

:cry:Poor daughter & mom. Prayers for the whole family. She has died way too young.
