My favorite Janet Jackson album is a tie between the janet. and Rhythm Nation albums. The songs on those albums are just absolutely amazing and some of the songs on those albums make me feel so carefree. I have been listening to Alright recently and I think about all the friends I care so much for. The Velvet Rope comes after those 2 albums and then it's the Control album, 20 Y.O., Discipline, All For You, and then Damita Jo. To this day, I haven't bought her 1st two albums.
