On the Beach (Gregory Peck, Ava Gardner, Fred Astaire)
It was not your everyday light movie. It actually was quite thought-provoking and affecting. It felt too slow moving to me as I was watching it, but that actually fit with the situation going on with the characters, for their lives were turned around in such a way that life had become slow moving for them. There was nothing they could do but live out each moment, hour, and day, one after another, while they...waited.
It left one thinking, because the premise was plausible, and just what if, we had to face such a thing?
