In any case, 'Best Of Joy' was the very final song that Michael Jackson recorded before he died.
Not entirely true, it was one of the last songs he recorded full vocals for but it was by no means his last ever recording, there's also 2 other songs that Michael Prince said that were completed during the Bel-Air Hotel sessions and he also said that Stranger In Moscow and Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' were re-recorded in 2009 for the This Is It concerts. There's also rumors of scratch vocals being recorded in 2009 but nothing confirmed. Best Of Joy is by no means MJ's final song.

What are those other two sing? Do we know?

He said two songs were completed? Also it's likely that the SIM and WBSS recordings are not complete in any way.

Yeah, MP said he has “a little bit” of SIM and WBSS recorded, which I suspect were used (at least in part) for This Is It.

I completely forgot about this song! There is a song called make a wish if I’m not mistaken that was produced by Buz Kohan from the Steven Spielberg movie. Is this the one he is singing? If so what are the chances of this one making it to thriller 40?

'Best Of Joy' was the very final song that Michael Jackson fully recorded before he died.

But his last ever recording is said to have taken place in May (just one month before his death).

Some fans heard Michael Jackson recording a part of a brand new song from a building in the back of his Holmby Hills residence (Los Angeles).

The surprised fans asked him about this brand new song.

The singer told them that he is still working on the lyrics of it and that he has not chosen the title of the song yet.

It's best of joy that heard in hotel

The other one was Hollywood Tonight, I believe.
wasn't there a leaked recording from outside a hotel which you can hear very very quietly a version of Hollywood Tonight?
Was it this hotel too?

Yes, the so-called ‘Bottle Of Smoke’ snippet. I’m not sure on the history of that recording, perhaps someone could help. I have heard people mention that it was recorded outside one of the hotels Michael was staying at in 2002.

No not Bottle Of Smoke, i'm referring a Hollywood Tonight recording from outside his hotel, there's a very low quality audio somewhere which leaked in the 2000's i believe, not sure if anyone knows what exactly i'm referring to, never knew the legitimacy of that audio, was too lq to comprehend much.

That recording of Hollywood Tonight was known under the title ‘Bottle Of Smoke’, before the title Hollywood Tonight became known to the public.
That’s it, right?

Yes, this happened when he was at Virginia Beach recording around 2000. I hear the audio when it played on a local radio station that recorded it and knocked on his door. MJ didn't answer, but he played a few seconds of the audio for them to hear.

Nah, if that was the case the song wouldn't have the bridge missing.

Counting BoJ it's 3, he says this on the MJcast.

I'm curious to see what changes between the 1999 version and the 2008 version, the vocals seems to be the same but maybe the instrumental is different, is there a filtered recording available?

I love this little song, I get chills when MJ sings "soaring up so high, I am forever" his voice was magical

What makes you think we'll have another thriller anniversary? They have milked thriller as much as they could. I swear after Thriller 40....I dont need another copy of this album. I know I have at least 6copies & that's not even the digital ones. They need to do everything for Thriller now! It'll still be available to the public just as is the original & 25th anniversary. It's not going anywhere & it's not gonna leave the number one spot of being the best selling album of all time!
Exactly why I feel they should have released as a HUGE SUPER DELUXE SET!!

i think he was going to do the setlist mostly live and have the more vocally demanding moments of each song prerecorded which would explain why theres only a little bit of both, it is by the way the method another big artist i know of was using at the time and now lots of other artists do the same

So I guess we're not actually talking about complete songs then. BOJ was never completed and I assume the other two he's talking about weren't either. That's why I was confused. As far as I've heard the demo that leaked is the latest version of HT.

Next songs will be revealed in 4 hours, right?

More or less. They don’t have a particular hour when they announce the tracks.

We already know which one it will be anyway lol.

I just remember it like it has been around 5:30 p.m danish time the other songs were announced. :)
