Do we know about other unheard outtakes/demos from the thriller era besides "Roll(ing) the dice" or "Nymphette Lover" ?

Learned My Lesson
MJ Melody
Neverland Landing

I'm Peter Pan
Make A Wish
Remember This Night
Saved By The Bell
Slipped Away
Somewhere In Time
Stand Tall
The Sky Is The Limit
Victory
Why Can't I Be?
Who Do You Know?

“Attitude” may or may not exist. Still haven’t been able to find evidence of it.

“Bad Company” is an interesting one that I also haven’t seen any evidence of. Any sources?

“Doing Dirty” is likely a Marlon solo track, or a song he was working on for The Jacksons. His name is in the title of the copyright registration, in the same way MJ’s is for other titles.

“Remember This Night” is a house song that samples “Say Say Say.” Not an original.

“Slipped Away” is another title I simply haven’t been able to find any evidence of existing (though admittedly I haven’t looked hard for this one given the alleged project).

“Fantasy,” “Far Far Away,” “Saved by the Bell,” “The Sky Is the Limit,” and “Who Do You Know” have never, to my knowledge, been definitively linked to any specific time period or album.

Gotta give it to AlwaysThere for clarifying things, though. As unfortunate as the prospect is, it seems as though the vault may not yield as much material as once believed. Also taking into account all the wild speculation that has occurred, through the years. Only time will tell.
Yeah I’m just teasing him, he knows
it is not even frustrating anymore, I have suspected it for a while. We have to accept reality, I think many fans will have a hard time doing that though lol

I don't recall him talking about Get Around in his book but he did talk about songs like Saturday Woman, Turning Me Off and Michael Mckellar. I think these and Superfly Sister were the only unreleased songs he talked about.
It mean Saturday women not finished song ? Turning me off finished ? What about crack kills

Not much information is available regarding "Saturday Woman". Frank Cascio is the only person I'm aware of that has referenced it.

A reliable source I spoke to informed me that "Turning Me Off" only has chorus vocals. So, at least vocally incomplete.

Joe Vogel references a solo demo of "Crack Kills" in Man In The Music, although not much in regards to completion.

Very bad news all MJ vault are chorus and instrimental

I'll take the L for those lol. I'll double check my sources next time. Although I am curious about Remember This Night, where did you get that one from?

Well there was quite a considerable amount of outtakes from the Thriller era, thing is that for better or worse all of the finished ones got leaked.

Wasn't Turning Me Off considered for Xscape? I couldn't find the pic anymore and I've seen other people talk about it so it couldn't have been a fever dream of mine lol but on the documentary of Xscape there was a tape of the song, it's unlikely that it has that few vocals if it was considered for the album.

Run DMC's part was never recorded so by Michael's standards it's not finished. But he recorded his vocals and that's all that really matters lol

Truly the only thing I desire and want is just as much post Invincible material as possible. Which is pretty much barebones as can be. But not hopeless, and I appreciate what glimpses there are, at least we can have some comfort in that.

But on the topic of the 40th:

The rumors of 300 songs made for Thriller is hard for corroborate. Sadly that urban legend must fall to the way side.

We're still not sure of the entire extent of the vault's contents. While it's true many songs have been leaked, and we are aware of them, they are technically still unreleased. Damien Shields pretty much confirmed on Twitter than the majority (if not all) known tracks recorded in MJ's later years are vocally incomplete or have improvised lyrics.

Damien did say that most of what's in the vault is instrumentals with mumbling so he's not wrong there lol. The vault is scarce.

I don't believe it was ever confirmed for Xscape, although a tape box was shown in a video.

I have every reason to believe my source, due to who it is. It was also pulled out again during Dangerous, but never progressed past the chorus vocals.

Damien only said on Xscape Origins that the melody resembled Remember The Time, especifically the "I bet you remember" part and said on Twitter that it had sonic similarities to Captain EO but he said that the version he heard had no vocals. He never explicitly confirmed if there's a version with vocals out there.
Run DMC could always finish their part now lol.
No because one of the members is, well, dead. 😬

"Neverland Landing" was recorded for a proposed Peter Pan film around 1983. It's cited in Man In The Music.
