Will probably be buying Raphael Saadiq's album tomorrow. I just downloaded Nelly's album yesterday (guilty pleasure). I'm debating on whether to purchase George Clinton's album on disc or just download the iTunes plus tracks: it depends on what's cheaper I guess.
I haven't bought a cd in ages. The last three ones I bought were from a gothic festival, of bands that nobody's probably ever heard of, basically a couple of new wave/post punk cd's. There are bunch of cd's I should buy though.
Madonna's Hard Candy is one of the most albums that I kown she does A great job doing this. She has A lot of enagrey working hard on her album. A great Madonna album to get!
Last one I bought was Prince's Diamonds & Pearls and Janet Jackson's janet.
But I have a terribly long list of CD's I want to buy. I'm trying to get into the habit of buying albums. In the long run, I think their better to have on hand than just an mp3 for the good ole iPod. I can't always expect to have a dock available at my leisure so CD's still are a necessity in my book.
I need:
Robin Thicke's new album
Ne-Yo's Year of the Gentleman
More Prince albums
More Janet albums
Estelle's new album
and a whole bunch more stuff that's just not worth naming. It'd take me a day to line it all out.
E=MC2 by Mariah Carey! I bought it the day it was released!! Fabulous album!
Before that, I bought, Janet's Discipline/ Carrie Underwood's "Carnival Ride & Some Hearts":
Before that, "Thriller 25" Standard Edition ^ Hardcase Edition :
Before that Celine Dion's "Taking Chances" Boxset
I didn't like it much at first, thought it sounded too disco lol, but now certain lines stand out more and his vooooooice is so nice. I really like it now
