Reggie heard us, and he did take note, but he rebelled!
He is famous for two things (amongst others)
1) Loving Michael Jackson
2) Hating facebook download campaigns
So.....he was torn
We requested over and over and OVER again that he play 'weve had enough'......
He compromised
He said 'I am getting seriously spammed by a fan group, and because I have had so many requests for this Man'.........at which point we all got excited.......he played 'Rock with you'.
Suleman is still supporting us, I dont like to keep asking him for things because he has shows everynight at the mo....he is going to give us a shout out again on Monday though, and has changed his set list to include We've Had Enough ( if nothing else happens, I am proud of that fact alone!)
You guys are all great (Except for those of you who are all negative and such like, you lot can shurrup! )

To be honest, he's only supposed to play songs that are available on his computer console. He's not Chris Moyles who seems to do whatever he wants. As 'We've had enough' was only ever released on a relatively unknown boxed set years ago, the chances of it being pre-loaded onto the console are zero. He couldn't play it, other than maybe a few cheeky seconds streamed off of Youtube.

Can I download the song from other countries as well? As in, can I go to itunes UK, Holland, Spain or Germany etc. (during my stay in France) and download from there as well? Or can you only download from the country you are at the moment?

I'm not saying you're necessarily wrong but I'd like to know what chart are you referring to? On Billboard's Comprehensive Albums Chart, that ranks the biggest selling albums in the United States, regardless of the product's age or method of sales, Thriller 25 peaked at #2. It did easily make it to #1, in it's first week, on the much less competitive Pop Catalog Albums Chart which defines a "catalog" title as one that is more than eighteen months old and that has fallen below position 100 on the Billboard 200.
I suppose it depends on how exactly you define "success." However, I'd easily venture to say that Michael would also be considered successful in many endeavors but where he wasn't the first to be so.

Yeah it seems to make more sense because i haven't heard anything about it here and if we don't have a chance of getting it into the charts then there isn't much piont.

This is true as most people know very little of him and I guess people will always speculate,....however there are so many theories swirling about that I think the new Michael Jackson Special airing on TV Guide Network on June 25th "Gone Too Soon" should def shed light on conspiracies and clear the air a bit....

The download campaign starts next week...
So how many people are going to purchase the track and contribute to the UK chart position?
Looking at last weeks figures we need just under 7000 copies to scrape into the UK Top40.
Judging from the 250 replies here and the few thousand members of the facebook campaign (globally) I can't see this song having much impact, but to hear the song on the radio would be great.
I'll keep my eye on the midweek charts next week and report back on the progress (if nobody else does it). We should know early in the week whether this campaign is going to get the song in the chart or not. If we can get the song into the top40 in the wednesday midweek chart then Greg James will play it on Wednesday on Radio1 and that may help it climb toward the end of the week ready for the final chart, announced on Sunday.

Dont forget guys that there is more than just a facebook group
There is a fan page, a blog, a dot portrait group, and over 1000 supporters on twitter

My greatest concern, is that since the main facebook group hit over 5000, we can no longer send messages to all members, so I have a week of sending 6,500 people individual messages next week to remind them....
