Having listened to all the demos now, I'm glad I had only heard the two snippets of Price of Fame and Al Capone. I don't think any of them are better than what was already chosen for the Bad album, but they're enjoyable to listen to. Al Capone is still my favorite, followed by I'm So Blue and Abortion Papers. I tend to think Streetwalker, Fly Away, and Cheater beat the other demos from the Bad sessions, but maybe that's because I've listened to them a lot.

Cheater should have been included IMO. I love that song.

Just watched Wembley this evening. It was breathtaking. Some things

-I'm jealous of Sheryl Crow and Jennifer Batten. Jennifer touched Michael's hair on DD. Get off my man

I also watched yersterday! He was so beautifull, so energetic, so sexy! I couldn't get my eyes off him! How could he do this? Sing and dance like this for 2 hours! Unbelievable!

Is there anyone who had tears in the end? It was so sad that show has ended It felt almost like I was there with him for those 2 hours and then he left

Is there any way of knowing if the EAN 5099745029020 cd contains the original mixes? Most ebayers offer the EAN and not other information.

the 3rd pressings you posted all have DD as 4:52. the revised version is 4:42.

2nd Press with original mixes minus IJCSLY intro cover says "Digitaly recorded". Bad wasn't digitaly recorded.

So, that pressing is just copy paste of the old back cover? it wasn't fixed yet or they made mistake.

2nd press with original mixes minus IJCSLY intro, should be IJCSLY 4:10.
3rd press with all track revisions, DD must be 4:40 and not 4:52.


Was the album recorded digitaly? Not, right?
how about Dangerous? History was the first digitaly, right?
Or am I misinterpreting something?

I agree. Sounds like MJ is singing a Stevie Wonder song!

Stevie had a song on his 1987 album "Characters" called "Free". Not the same song though. His duet with MJ ("Get It") is on that album!

I never understood the loudness war controversy. The louder CDs always seemed to sound better on my modest hi-fi, in the car and anything else I can think of.

It makes more sense to me now, though. This CD really packs a punch. That's good in some ways but it gives me a headache!

I've been to the new Wembley. There's something about it that doesn't work for me but I couldn't put my finger on it at first. I think it's the roof. The new roof is too narrow, it's almost like an indoor arena now and doesn't feel quite so expansive even though it is larger in terms of capacity. The arch is no replacement for the twin towers either.

The old Wembley looks great for this performance. As with Michael, it sucks that it's gone.

Did anyone else catch that little nod to Stevie Wonder during the Bad Groove? It was pretty subtle but at one point the drummer played something that sounded exatly like the intro for Supersition

The CD is great but what really bugs me is the way Smooth Criminal is edited. I would have prefered it if they cut out the ''Do, do, do, do'' intro and just went straight into the song and then have the whole song play

I really like the editing on the live CD. At least thus far, I haven't listened beyond RWY yet.

With a live CD you want to get into the meat and bones of the track, you don't want to be lagging around in intros and outros. I know where you guys are coming from, but when we're talking purely audio I'm not too bothered about these cuts.
