Geez-o-Pete! Michael, I miss you sooooo frickin much that it hurts.

the MITM Video is my video on YouTube. lol
and I don't think we will get L.A.
but it's worth a try - I signed the petition!

SD Blu-ray are just DVD in disguise. Pointless.

That's a dangerous proposition with this fan base.

If it wasn't recorded on film, stick to DVD. 480p has no reason to be on a Blu-Ray.

A high quality dvd would be good also. Look at the snippets from “The One” dvd. It’s jaw dropping good:

There is an issue with L.A 1989. And the issue is that lying little shit called James Safechuck. If this show gets released do they edit him out of the show, or do they just leave the show as it is?

Aghh you are right, I forgot about that human excrement... Idk what'd be the best thing, it would cause controversy whatever the case... :(

I completely forgot about that until I was rewatching an LA clip on YouTube and he came out. They could probably edit around him if film reels exist, but if it’s just a Jumbo Tron transfer there’s no hope.

Honestly, if they can’t edit around him, don’t release it. It is NOT worth it.

Everytime I see STABchuck’s face, I just wanna punch him!

r u guys serious? you would say "no" to a L.A 89 release cause Safechuck is in it? Well, i don't care.. he was a kid back then and i am sure he was not like he was today.. besides that isn't there already footage with him on stage on youtube? no secret that he was there..

On YouTube is different than a commercial release.

If they release LA 1989, cut out the final half of “Bad” when the kids storm the stage. Not ideal, but there is NO reason to give Safechuck a bigger platform than he already has by putting him on an official Michael Jackson release, especially post-2019.

They could cut Bad after the first ending. No need to show band member thanking or the kids on the stage. Or digitally replace his face with someone else. Just to get rid of Safechuck and his smile-sneezing behaviour for every alleged abuse he re-accounts. He doesn't deserve to appear on Blu-Ray.

or simply replace the ending with different show.

My thoughts exactly, but then again, Chucky will be like “tHeY cUt Me OuT oF tHiS pArT, I wAs hErE” and suspicions, along with tensions, would just flair up

If they replace just his face with CGI it would also go through the media..

I think honestly he's ruined any chance we ever had of getting this show.

I'm not going to look through the entire thread so Why exactly do you guys want this show on dvd and not any other of the bad tour?
I'd go with earlier dates because I can imagine both voice and dancing to be better and more energetic early on in a tour

I'd honestly like to see a high quality release of the opening night show from Tokyo. His vocals, dancing, and audience interaction are off the charts.

If not that, I'd like to see the NYC shows from March 1988.

Which concert was it MJ left the stage and ran down in the audience - and climped the fence? - Was it in Japan ?

That show could be nice too.

Yes it was in one of the shows in Osaka, I believe. While that show would be nice to watch in better quality, I'd rather watch a new concert from the 88/89 leg since the 88/89 leg defines the Bad Tour better than the 87 leg imo (we have more 87 concerts in pro than 88 concerts anyway)

I agree - the Set-list is WAY better in 88/89 ! - Maybe they could just add the song from Osaka where MJ climped the fence! :)

Any of the early US shows from 1988 would be my first choice. A show where Smooth Criminal is sung live is the holy grail for me
