the original version of 'We Are The World' both the single and the video, are available on itunes.

if in the new song they will not keep the Michael`s part, I don`t buy the single. If they keep in this single Michael`s part, it will sell great ... I can donate to victims of Haiti and otherwise, than to buy this single ...
in my opinion Michael is irreplaceable ... so, We Are The World without him would be a big mistake ... no one can replace him ... even Janet or his children ... :(

There was a report on my national TV about it and I felt terribly sad watching it.
They said it was recorded by Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie 25 years ago and the tv-reporter DID NOT mention Michael !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I couldn"t believe my eyes !!! I was so pissed !!!! It was his project! It was his idea !
It is nothing without him. Good cause and if his kids are involved, it is great it is really great. But.....

I read this morning that Fergie added her vocals and was filmed for the video. And Janet has layed down her tracks. The article said the kids have not recorded anything as of yet

started at 0:35, Michael talked about how he wrote the song "We are the world". Michael did 99% of the song on his own. Lionel Richie just changed some lyrics.

yep. today's announcers are interested in 'subtly' and 'quietly' revising history, yet again, in order to phase Michael out, in a 'clever' way, designed to make anyone calling it out, look like the bad guy. hopefully, the entertainment tonights, of the world will keep having the interviews with the artists, that keep reminding us of the actual genesis of the song, but i don't know how long that will last. that announcer in that video was only three years fresh off the project.

We need to do something. The Grammy's noticed the MJ surge and not to mention MTV got the best view numbers after a long time. We need to raise our voice. It was Michaels idea to begin with. Quincy needs to put his ego aside.

From now on we MJ fans need to set the standard. Either its our way or noway. Not at the cost of our Mike:yes:

dam, i was just watching the original usa for africa version on youtube, and saw that it got seven hundred fifty thousand plus views, but MJ's demo version got over seven million six hundred sixty thousand views.

i don't know how to say this, but there is one of the version with everyone in, with over 14 million views

I also noticed the convenient omission of MJ's name from anything to do with the writing of We Are the World from some reports recently. Some in the media better check themselves!

MJ maybe gone, but no one can erase history, hear that Quincy, 'cause he's been acting so damn annoyed when asked about Mike recently its not even funny!
