Hold me like the RIVER JORDAN........today (the Lord's baptism) more poignant than ever
At times, when i watch concert footage of Michael i wish people would have stopped screamin' at the top of their lungs and actually listened to what this mighty man was trying to sing and preach about, but then i remember my own reactions at concerts and how wild i can get (there is video footage of that and plenty of witnesses lol) and then i start to understand them just a lil' bit.
I knew u were jokin' and yessss that was amazing, great beatboxing :clapping: I think it's incredible what people can do with their mouth....Mike himself was pretty well off in that chapter, wasn't he? Btw, i looooove your siggy. It's sooo cool you remember the day when you were "introduced" to Michael. So funny i noticed your siggy now. I was actually lookin' at pictures from back then.

It's pretty much the same for me, but i can't remember the day - all i know is that it was in the spring of 1992. April, March, haven't got a clue, but whenever it was that day was a blessing and i thank the Lord for it. Didn't realize it back then, but it was the best b-day present up till that point and for maaaany more years to come, till some 18 years later when i got me some awesome stuff.
20 years later - in many respects i'm pretty much still like this :girl_smile: and the feeling is only growin' stronger

I think I remember the day because it hit me like a train when I saw Moonwalker and my big bro taped the movie for him but at the end it was me who watch it insistently.
Thank God we were on holidays because nobody could move me away from the VHS player
BTW, great INXS concert! and Sade it's always so sad for me but I like her anyway

I know i've said this be4, but he had me at the wink. It took me years to realize he couldn't actually wink, but hey, it didn't matter to me then, it certainly doesn't now. for my mom and my granpa
Today is saint Anthony who is my mother's patron saint. Unfortunately for her it is a day sorrow because 38 years ago, when she was 19, she lost her dad (he was only 47) to heart disease. I never got to meet him, but i'm convinced i got from him some of the most important things that make me who i am today. May the Lord have mercy on my granpa's soul and may He protect my mom and dad always.
Thank goodness for the lovely, gracious radio people playin' these songs today cause otherwise the amnesiac that i are i would have forgotten about them treasures. Much love to everyone

the videos of the 'nobodies'
Because everybody's someone...the mere fact of people knowing anybody's name is useless unless that fame is used for good. Heroes come in all sizes, genders and races irrespective of fame or fortune.
I've always loved this kind of videos (i'm sure i've forgotten a few, my apologies) and it was a very welcome and nice surprise to see the Hold my hand vid in that very same vibe and spirit. Considering the circumstances it was a rather obvious choice, but still it was lovely. I was actually talkin' about this with a friend of mine in the summer of 2010. Haven't heard from her in a while, hope she ok. Another thing i had always wanted to see when it came to Michael videos were shots of him in the studio. All in your name is wonderful because of it. Whatta shame some of my 'artistic ideas' for Michael came true after he passed away....

I've recently started my own lil' audio editing (ad)venture. I've only just begun, i'm faaar from a pro, but in my characteristic lack of modesty i like to think my 'productions' are realllly interestin' lol The world betta get ready for my albums 2 be released later this year Juuuust kiddin', i'm no threat to the music business. I like to let those that are actually great @ IT do their thang

My most impressive is unfortunately unlisted. Copyright issues. Also pre-dates my fascination with a certain lawyer by a few years. It's about 15 minutes long if I recall rightly. May post later.
