@dam2040: I think that professionals are much more competent than us to restore videos... and I would love that they used their skills to do a great job on this concert.. but the facts are here: I can see obvious mistakes in the way the video was processed. And I could say the same about the Vision's boxset. That makes me think the skills are not the top condition to do a good job.. the passion we put in work is probably more important.
The best way to juge the accual improvements made by professionals would be comparing the look of the source, the famous MJ's VHS and the final DVD. Of course, it'll stay in the dream zone as Estate, with a great possibility, will never release even a screen of the accual source.
But I agree with you MJMax in everything you said. There are many obvious mistakes made by the restoring crew which we can clearly see. Quality is not great, what's more! I would say it's not even good. I was a bit surprised when I saw APOM cuz regarding the Bad snippet from Daybreak, I honestly had no hope...
