oh thank you for the live feed links! looks like I'll be watching this online! I hope my internet is kind to me and doesn't fail!! :( anyway thank you to all those who have helped!! this thread is very useful! thanks ;) :D Looking forward to it! :D
 
If anyone can do a list of all the live feeds there will be.. It would be much appreciated! Just in case one of them doesn't work.. I have a back up! I'm so gutted I can't watch this on TV live ¬_¬
 
Not sure about the times.

MTVNHD - http://www.mtvnhd.com - is showing it in the UK (and I guess across europe) but the MTVNHD website says 2am CET but on the TV listings says 3am (Which I assume is UK time) but UK is an hour behind CET so it should be 1am ..

Anyone got any idea as IF MTVNHD is showing it live it should start at 2am UK time not 3am ... as it starts 9pm ET (+5hours = 2am UK)

The ONLY reason they do this tribute is because they NOW SEE that so many people LOVED MICHAEL JACKSON and they EXPECT high ratings with all the fans sitting in front of their tv sets crying!!! They play with and simply use the fans' emotions because of $ $ $ $ $ $

I can't believe norwegian mtv arent showing it!? Sweden is! Uk is!

Am i wrong? It's just RUN's HOUSE ALL WEEKEND

Edit: I found that it will be live 2o clock at night on monday.. That's the time here then.

Hoping this will be out on torrent pretty quick after it has aired..
Cause its impossible for me to watch it at 03.00(time in Sweden)..
And the reruns doesn't start until wednesday and even then its pretty early times..
 
can somebody please give me that link again...where u can watch it online?

I have sent an e-mail to MTV Netherlands and this is their answer (it's in Dutch, sorry):

"Beste Martijn,

Wij zenden de VMA’s rechtstreeks uit in Nederland. Dit houdt in dat de VMA’s live uitgezonden worden in de nacht van zondag 13 op maandag 14 september. De show zal beginnen om 03:00 uur. Als dit te laat -of vroeg- is, dan kun je altijd nog naar de herhaling kijken. Deze zal donderdag 17 september zijn om 20:30 uur op MTV!

Veel kijkplezier gewenst!"

Basically it says that it will be aired live at 3 in the morning, and the re-run will be this Thursday at 20:30.
 
It's confirmed on the mtv.nl site:

MTV zal in de nacht van 13 op 14 september de VMA’s live uitzenden, dus
om 03:00 uur Nederlandse tijd! De herhaling zal op 17 september om 20:30 uur zijn!

I'll be staying up!
 
I understand that the awards will air in the uk on monday night on mtv however if uk fans want to watch the show live on the internet what time would we tune in? or if anyone knows what time it airs in the US so i can work it out from that, thank-you

Might just set my alarm for 2, watch it online and then get back to sleep after.
 
For the Dutchies; do you know how long the show will take....?
I'm gonna tape it since I got college very early tomorrow (boooo), but can't find the end-time anywhere!:doh:
