TII in Ireland

wow i can't believe liffey valley has the 4 am screening. wish i was there for that, but i would definitely recommend the savoy, it has a MASSIVE screen. (i think it's the first up the steps on the left, am i right?) the biggest i have ever seen, and this is it would be mindblowing shown on that screen.

Dundrum, Savoy, IMC Dun Laoire and Liffey Valley are the biggest ones in Dublin. Cineworld is huge, but doesn't get much business weirdly.. all the way down O'Connell Street to get there I suppose...

Anyone Know about cinemas in mayo??

Don't know anything about Mayo but i know our crappy little cinema in dundalk is showing it, they are currently showing the trailer so it is definitely on there anyway my point is if we have it then i'm thinking it's going to be nationwide.

Anyone buy ticket for 1st showing in Cineworld at 11:10am?

Well now they have changed the time to 10:10am. What the hell for?
I am coming from Kilkenny and will be under pressure to get there now at that time.

Its strange how they changed the time for that showing in the Savoy. I have already spotted an advert for the movie. I was in Liffey Valley Shopping Center last Sunday and I noticed that in the HMV store they have a poster of the movie at the counter there was a hand written note in the corner of the poster saying premier showing is at 4am in Vue Cinema on 28th October :)

Thats good but i think they will need a bit more advertising if they are going to sell it out.

Oh I'm actually going to be at home next Wednesday and not in Dublin as previously thought. YAY! If there's anyone from Galway here, do you know if the Eye or the Omniplex are showing it at 4am?
Not that I'd necessarily go at that time, but would like to know all the same.

Hey you guys,

So what is the story with next week - is anyone meeting up? I doubt tickets are sold out in Cineworld - just kinda tried to buy some and it seemed to let me.
I'm so excited.

I'm gonna be in Fundalk on Saturday night, playing at the Spirit Store. We usually throw a bit of I Want You Back in the set, crowd always love a bit of MJ.

Here in Cork none of the cinemas are sold out.
Even there are still tickets left for the 28th

I saw a TII billboard next to Blackpool Shopping Centre, Cork earlier today.. Seems there is some bit of advertising going on..

They may not be sold out but I hear that The Reel Cinema, Blackpool is selling quite well..

I was told by a friend who works there that people rarely pre-book tickets

Fundalk, you've obviously been there before then, spirit store is cool, whats the name of the band, ya wanna go for a few in good time charlies first, crazy place.

Most Dublin cinemas are quite packed but not sold out by any means, except a couple here and there on the Wednesday... Michael is just 5 days away...

There isn't much promotion.
Saw an article about "*****'s movie" today in Irish Independent... why do they HAVE TO keep calling him this name... :depressed:

The link wasn't working so i went out and bought it, i actually thought it was a good write up. fair enough they do say j***o a couple of times but they also say he was performing well and that he was in control of everything. I'm delighted with Mark Anderson from omniplex cinemas saying it is going to open huge and that advance sales are like nothing we've seen this year.

What a fantastic piece written by Ed Power. It would nearly bring tears to your eyes.

I WON TICKETS TO THE 4AM SCREENING.

Is anyone else going? Drinks reception. Fancy dress. This is so exciting. I'm going to have to try and sleep before it tho or else i'll be nodding off during the film (doubt I could sleep when Michael is on stage tho :))

I'm going to the 4am screening in liffey valley, i didn't here anything about the drinks reception or fancy dress though. Were did you here that, i just bought my tickets online.

TII showing 18 times on the 28th in liffey valley and 17 times on the 29th, i thought it wasn't selling well but they keep adding extra times so there must be huge demand.

X Factor on TV3 just showed the theatrical trailer!!! I nearly crapped myself even though Ive seen it hundreds of times! :D

Just seen that. The Savoy in Dublin have changed their showing time of 1st show that was at 2pm back to 1:40. Second cinema I booked with to change time.

I think people in Ireland need to double check times of cinema they have booked with encase time they booked for has also changed. So far Cineworld and Savoy have changed their original opening time show.
