Ticketmaster screw up Opus deliveries

Thanks for the info, I get the same thing when I log into Ticketmaster, this is very poor service.

they could have contacted us through email to keep us informed about it... I would pay more $28 dollars to get my book by Christmas :(
I thought really strange the shipping costs when I bought the book, and I've read on the news here in MJJC that it had pre-sale orders topping 20,000 copies.

I ordered mine at middle of september, and I waited, waited, waited.
But they are....what? This is unfair:(

***UPDATE***

Just got off the phone, a very helpful guy from Opus called me and has explained the situation.

Ticketmaster.com no longer are involved with the Opus, they were there simply to collect orders and information and that has been passed on.

What is happening as we speak is Michael Jackson Opus books are being delivered to depots worldwide (mkgenie pics). From the depots, FedEx will be shipping them out. Opus are VERY confident they will be delivered by Christmas, infact the guy just told me he expects mine to be with me in a few more days.

So anyway POTENTIALLY I have jumped the gun but what i explained to him was that we were expecting a confirmation email from ticketmaster.com and it never happened plus our orders dont have any onfo attached to them.

The good news for me is i got $28 usd refunded when i shouldnt have so ticketmaster 0, rick 1. Wahoo.

SO, We dont have to worry. :)

Hope the following information helps you.

After reading this thread (and having ordered through Ticketmaster UK) I spoke to a lovely lady from Kraken Opus in the UK. She confirmed that Kraken Opus are responsible for shipping the Michael Jackson Opus and that Ticketmaster basically forwarded our orders to them. They then passed on our data to Federal Express (Shipping Courier).

She confirmed that they are shipping this week and that we should be receiving orders by the end of next week and that Fed Ex will send out an email with tracking information once the package reaches our local hub. This applies to everyone worldwide.

Hope this works out for all of you!
 
I told ya all to order directly from Opus...their customer service is excellent!
And here is a special Shout out to A at the Opus store London - Thanks for all your help A you are amazing!

OK, so... WHAT??! Thanks for the update, Rickd. I suppose I can still sit back and wait. I was getting really jittery here... Phew... For now anyway. :unsure: Hopefully all goes well for us all!

So those who ordered from the US, will get it much earilier than the International orders?
 
I assumed the UK would get theirs sooner because Opus are based in the UK. I guess we'll just have to wait and see... the excitement is really getting to me!! :clapping:
 
Ok.. I just hope they will be sending mine asap. I would be very dissapointed if they say "well... you know, you live at the other corner of the world, so ... sorry... just wait until March" :(

I was not aware of the special collectors edition..... I think I missed it!!

Well, the same here!! Someone mentioned this (I just don't remember if it was here or in another threath) and I went crazy!! But I have been searching and searching and REsearching at the Opus and there is no special edition for MJ Opus.

However, they do sell some incredible stuff about him. And veeeeeeeeeryyyy expensive. Please take a look... and enjoy yourself... I love Child of Innocence....

Hi, again... Here is the confirmation I have just received form the person who is helping me while placing my order:


"Hi Paola,

I have spoken to Rick from New Zealand this morning, (he called my mobile at 5am this morning!) with regards to the conversation that he had with DHL about his Michael Jackson Opus.
I am extremely suprised that he was offered any compensation as all our deliveries are being handled by Fedex, so DHL would have no knowledge of our company or the MJ Opus!?

Further to your mail, I can confirm that all Opuses are currently being shipped to various worldwide Fedex distribution hubs.
(So you are aware, no Opuses are being dispatched by Standard mail and Ticketmaster aren't involved in Opus despatch whatsoever)
Once they are received at these hubs, Fedex will notify all customers that their Opus is in the process of being despatched.

Hopefully there will be a quick turnaround and you should receive your MJ Opus at some point next week.
Sorry that sounds slightly vague, but it is completely out of our control once the books have been received by Fedex.

If you need any further information, please don't hesitate to ask.
