Ticket Talk ONLY!!

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

''The ticket limit will apply per person, per card and per billing address so you must ensure that you keep to these criteria.''

I hope this only applies to the codes and not buying additional tickets later on friday for different dates.

Also, does anyone know about tickets available at the box office yet?

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

Michael must know with such high demand he HAS to do a world tour, if not that, at least a LOT more shows!!!

As far as I know it's for the presale only. I got around this with Kylie tickets a couple of years ago by buying some using my mom's card details. There was a limit of 6 tickets for the whole tour, but thankfully they changed this for X!

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

My card I use to book tickets is a solo card.. they have a picture of solo like the accept it but when you pull the options down solo isn't there? Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! :bugeyed

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

:scratch:So the tickets we buy are available for any date of the whole show or is it only valid for one specific date? I mean, when the tickets are out on friday, we can buy it for a specific date or are unique for any of his shows?
Hope i made myself understood...

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

I'm panicking. I know a non-hard core fan and he's stressing too, and planning to get up before 7am tomorrow for the pre-sale. All this ticket-info is actually killing me. I can't cope.

It's actually making me feel sick. :mello:

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

I'm sure they'll announce more shows on Friday as the others sell out. They just need to see if they can sell the bad tickets as well.

Regardless, he should have done stadium instead.

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

Is there a Fan from London who can help me with tickets? :(
I'm from switzerland and have no creditcard, so i would be so thankful if there will be a fan who can help me and buy the tix in london on friday...

Exactly! Why would the biggest, most succesful entertainer in history NOT do stadium? What was Michael thinking! He could of done less shows and most people would be able to get tickets!

These sort of venues just not work for his status...

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

''According to insider, Michael Jackson and AEG just agreed to add 20 more dates at the O2, it should be announced soon.''

Lets not panic if hes doin 30 shows well nearly all get to go lol just be fri not wed 99% gets our tix :D

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

I hope the pre-sale isn't going to be like the Britney pre-sale where they sent out too many passwords. It made the whole thing completely pointless and I ended up getting really good tickets on the general public sale date anyway.

Also, I find it hard to imagine that the most expensive MJ ticket is £75. It wouldn't surprise me if tomorrow, they've added a 'special option' at £1000... or more. It's such an O2 thing to do.

Sorry to be a pessimist. I'm just annoyed that they're turning something that could have been really positive into something really negative what with their pre-sales and priority tickets and what not. Getting tickets for the Michael Jackson comeback shows shouldn't be about luck, it should be about dedication.

Edit: And merit.

So true!

And I also can't imagine that O2 won't offer very expensive VIP special packs or something like that! They will most likely do that! Why would they offer that for Britney, but not for Michael?

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

yea thres bound to be expensive VIP packages £75 will be for just a seat, and I hope none of you are hoping to get in first 15 odd rows by just getting a standard tickets, you can bet your life they'll be part of the VIP packages.

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

cus when they send u a txt u have to pay (unless u opt for email) n alot of ppl will have done that...i think the number of ppl gettin codes that will get tix is so tiny compared to the amount of ppl payin for a txt...i think ul have a much better chance of tix nn seats fri - when it has nothin to do with this 'presale'

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

Just really hope all of you get the tickets you want and not all these "Johnny-come-lately's"

The official youtube account got 5,000 more subscribers on the day of the PC lol

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

The pre-sale is no different than any other. X amount of tickets are set aside for the presale, x amount of people get a pre-sale password, and that number is usually more than the tickets that go on sale because not everybody that signs up for the pre-sale buys tickets. Sometimes the pre-sale doesn't sell out and sometimes it does (and it will this time).

It's not a big deal. With ten dates, everyone will probably be able to get a ticket, though maybe not for the exact date they want. Just check your itenerary and what you can afford and have a backup plan.

Hey could you please send a link with this quote from AEG as i cant find it and im really hoping its legit.

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

i think this presale code thing is a money makin scam!

yea thres bound to be expensive VIP packages £75 will be for just a seat, and I hope none of you are hoping to get in first 15 odd rows by just getting a standard tickets, you can bet your life they'll be part of the VIP packages.

But I find it odd that they haven't announced anything about VIP packages or Gold Circles etc. Somehow it all seems rather badly organised. I mean, they flew Michael in to say three words at the press conference (after he obviously had to ask that presenter what he was supposed to do), no press release immediately followed - which was strange - and the dates weren't announced until yesterday. ... was Michael not taking calls?

Then they announce these too-good-to-be-true ticket prices and set up a pre-sale, which is obviously only a means of surveying the public's interest in buying tickets for the shows. No preliminary seating chart has been released (and I know they haven't done it yet but with other megastar concerts, they always have an idea/template before they start selling the tickets) and no one's actually clear on whether or not this is a 'farewell tour' for Michael because no one from AEG or Michael's camp could be bothered to elaborate on his press conference statements in a press release.

So conclusively, it feels a little weird buying tickets for these shows because quite frankly, when you think about it, the information we've received has been second to none. And yet, I might throw myself off the balcony if I don't tickets... and isn't that just a Jacksonesque predicament? I definitely feel like I've been here before. Oh well.
