I like both very much, but ghosts is my personal favorite right now.

I think ‘thriller’ is better written (both melodically and lyrically).
has better clearer vocals that creep, strike and soar.
it’s better structured and has more suspense and dynamic range to keep the listener engaged.
the groove and overall production is timeless and has aged so much better.
the concept was more fresh and original at the time. the following scary songs were unnecessary.
‘thriller’ has a sense of humour and doesn’t take itself too seriously. this makes it a more joyful experience, despite it exploring a dark theme. it walks that perfect line.
‘thriller’ is more memorable in every way.

For me, I love Thriller for its groove and melody. Its got a GREAT bass and its definitely the most iconic of the two.
But I find Ghosts to be the one that gives me goose bumps (especially with Michael's opera-like vocals in the intro), and lately, Ghosts has been my go-to for a danceable track (especially having listened Thriller too many times to count, like most of us here I'm sure).
