So no BWT shows of early 88 in the USA were filmed? Does this mean we will really never ever get to see TWYMMF and smooth criminal completely live? What a bummer!
Every concert ever was filmed, whether they still exist and in what quality is the questionSo no BWT shows of early 88 in the USA were filmed? Does this mean we will really never ever get to see TWYMMF and smooth criminal completely live? What a bummer!
Every single TJ/MJ show ever happened was shot in full on tape at least. Not everything was shot on film tho.. But a few BWT shows were shot on film what gives us the possibility of a HD/4K release.. I'd actually die if they ever do a 4K 3D screening.. hahaSo no BWT shows of early 88 in the USA were filmed? We should keep in mind that every intended concert release would have been edited in some way, hence the film cameras on selected venues.
sorryI thought this thread was about ‘thriller 40’?
Do you mean the 1984 Denver(?) deposition?Does anybody remember a deposition Michael had back in the 80's I think for The Girl Is Mine where he is on record talking about an unreleased song called "Why Can't I Be" and the chords being similar to The Girl Is Mine? He also said that he thought some of the unreleased material he wrote for Thriller was even stronger than some of the stuff that made the album. I know this is on record, I just can't seem to find it....
That must be it. I thought it was from that era.Do you mean the 1984 Denver(?) deposition?
I would love to hear Lady In My Life with the unreleased ending and ad libs. When do we think we will hear more about this project? First song to drop from it? I think really they should release lady in my life. Its a beautiful song and really shows off Michael's vocals.
What's everyone else's thoughts?
And the missing verse, all in high quality.I would love to hear Lady In My Life with the unreleased ending and ad libs.
High Quality BUT compressed to hell and beyondAnd the missing verse, all in high quality.
I want you back sounds amazingOne thing I really want is a Dolby Atmos mix of Thriller for Apple Music. If done well, it could be incredible
who claimed that and where? There, I've just paid 130€ for the preorder of Thriller vinyl. They better actually record that s*** from the original masters, as they are claiming they are. And I better hear at least SOME difference in quality on my setup...

YouTube compression sucks! Better they'll do a 4K Blu-ray/Blu-ray releaseI'm curious if we'll get short films in 4k as blue ray or Youtube
Ultradisc One-Step Vinyl by Mobile Fidelity Sound LabWhat! 130EUR! Is it made of gold!
Unfortunately none of those words made sense to me. I don't think I have even seen a Vinyl! I thought it was old forgotten technology. Is that like normal price for Vinyl? Double the normal?Ultradisc One-Step Vinyl by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab
But it sounds fancy doesn’t it!Unfortunately none of those words made sense to me.
Yeah kinda double. Got that one as well.Unfortunately none of those words made sense to me. I don't think I have even seen a Vinyl! I thought it was old forgotten technology. Is that like normal price for Vinyl? Double the normal?
PS: Sorry don't mean to derail the thread, I was just shocked at the price tag.
normal vinyl is around 20$. The One-Step vinyl from MOFI is made directly from the original analog tapes to the vinyl (that's why it's called One-Step) (normal vinyl is Four-Step) btw vinyl sells better than CDsUnfortunately none of those words made sense to me. Selling better than CD’s might not be very impressive. How do current vinyl sales compare to sales in the 80s or 90s?normal vinyl is around 20$.
