Latest on MJJC

thinking about a michael jackson tattoo

I'm contemplating one, I have 3 small tattoos already and one is to commemorate the passing of one of my dear friends, I feel that Michael is no different. I think I'd get a line from one of his songs which represents his life and passing.
 
I'm gonna get this on the inside of my ankle:

My avatar is a pic of my other MJ tattoo on the outside of my ankle.
 
The Bad logo is also cool. Today I saw on a boulevard program that there were about 70 customers who got a tattoo at 'tattoo Bob' at Amsterdam lol. Great!

I'm thinking about getting one too. I never got a tattoo before
 
Yea you could not sure if it will hurt though i'll be glad when mines heal jeez i can't even sleep on my right arm lol it's worth it though

I'm kind of kidding, but mostly not...you could get "Property of Michael Jackson" haha, I'm very independent, but Michael breaks all my rules :wub: I would volunteer myself to be owned by him! and you could either just get it all in the same font or have Michael's signature and the rest in plain text.

I've actually debated getting a tattoo before, but I could never commit and I like to have my body free of anything, but I'm seriously considering it now and considering a pretty extensive one at that when I'm more of a minimalist. Without thinking about it very much the first idea I came up with is getting his face in profile on the back of my shoulder as if his head is resting there and then the rest of his body (I don't know about the legs though, I might have it fade into text of his lyrics or a quote) down one side of my back with his arms wrapping around to the front of my body as if he's holding me from behind. I feel like I need Michael to hold me and stay close to me, so that's a pretty literal reason behind that. I'm on medication for a while though so it will be close to a year before I can get it done, so I'll think through tons of ideas before I decide for sure.

Who's tattoo is this? That's actually a very well done portrait and I'd like to know the tattoo artist they went to. I want a portrait so I'll go wherever I need to and pay however much it costs for it to look amazing.

I've got THIS JL "portrait", it would be quite hard to mess it up ;]

but yes, if you want to have Michael's portrait tattooed, you have to look for the best tattoo artists, because i've seen several tattoos gone incredibly wrong.. especially tattoos of people's faces. so be very very careful with that!

I'll take a better quality photo as soon as I get my camera back. This one was taken with my webcam. Sorry if is too poor. I just couldn't wait any longer to show to ya'll. I'm so proud of this tattoo. It came out just the way I wanted to be.

haha, sorry i don't really know anything about john lennon. i love the portrait though, it has a lot of character in it!
 
Done! :) its covered with a bandage now and I need to wait a little longer to take it off. I cant wait to show you guys! And im not even in pain, I thought it would hurt but I dont feel anything.
 
I would have never thought I will say that one day but... I would like to have one too! :) On my right forearm it would be nice!
 
Does someone have an idea for a tatoo ?? I would like something not oo big like the MJ logo but something else! Any ideas ??
 
I want mine very big... its gonna be crossed over my right and left shoulder on my back and on my arm probably his face or something...
 
I was surprised it did not hurt as much as I thought it would. At first it did but I started getting used to the feeling. This is my first tattoo and probably my only! Its a little sore now. Im happy I did it though :)

I have been thinking about getting a Michael Jackson tattoo for some time now.. After his passing ( tears ) I definitely want it! The idea I have now is the MJ HIstory logo on my ankle..It will be my first tattoo! I want to have HIM with me everywhere I go;) But Id love to hear any ideas..
 
So I have been doing ALOT of research and finally I have found someone who does the most awesome portrait tats I have ever seen in my life...but it is gonna cost me about £300-500 and the artist has like an 8 month waiting list...but I am prepared to wait, I want the best. This person was recommended to me by my friend who has had many tattoos and she is also getting a portrait by this artist.

My mates advice is: don't go for the cheapest, quickest way: that's when tattoos go wrong

Be prepared to wait a long time for a good artist. It's well worth the end result.

do they have a website? i'd like to see some of the portraits. i def want a portrait and i'm not getting it for a while, so it'd be good to get on a wait list now.
 
I want one so bad! 11 months till i'm 18 though, at least i have time to plan it properly.
I think i just want his signature on my ankle, or maybe some lyrics on the side of my foot, i imagine that would be painful though!
