there was a time when i'd say simpsons but i feel that it has gone down in quality since its inception all those years ago...
 
the simpsons for sure, far more class has something for everyone. Family guy leans more towards lame humour for me

The Simpsons but I admit that it maybe time for Fox to pull the plug. How many more times can they use the same storylines over and over?

Family Guy is great in it's own way.
 
simpsons despite whats more popular now. i like family guy but they piss me off with their stupid michael jokes. they take it too far imo
 
I think Family Guy is a piece of shit! :(
In the first place, their voices shrill and they're very annoying to listen to. Secondly, they make fun of Michael in a vicious manner. The Simpsons is so much fun, and with better sense - no doubt.

I can't stand Family Guy. I don't think it's fair to even compare it to the Simpsons. Family Guy makes the Simpsons' writers look like Shakespeare. As the above post said. The Simpsons writing is far more intelligent.
 
The Simpsons. I don't think I've even seen a Family Guy episode.
There have been few "MJ jokes" on the Simpsons but IMO the way they've done 'em you just can't be mad at them. Like the one where Homer is holding baby Bart over a balcony and of course Homer drops him ( reference to the the Berlin incident!). But it's Homer :D you can't be mad at Homie.
 
I think The Simpsons is funnier now than it has ever been, its absolutely hilarious. The new episodes are hilarious.

Although I love Family guy.

I prefer South park over family guy though :)
 
FOX originally had Family Guy ready to replace the simpsons due to it being cheaper to make and that they also take FOX' directions better.

They said that on the commentary on the simpsons season 11 boxset
 
The Simpsons movie was way better than Family Guy movie !!!
 
The Simpsons, it was a classic and all-time favourite, even for Michael's taste. I do like Family Guy also, but the shot some Michael in some episodes but a very few I don't like about.
 
The Simpsons, in its peak, is so much better than Family Guy ever was. Both have declined in quality recently.
 
The Simpsons >> it was what innovated Family Guy and other sitcoms.
Plus, Family Guy can be SERIOUSLY rude and degrading. The make fun of, firstly, Michael...and then make issues such as bulimia, anorexia, smoking, alcohalism, depression, and a lot more look glossy and great and glamarous.

The only reason I could ever be able to sit through Family Guy would be cuz of Stewey's voice and style of speaking :p
 
Family Guy is way better, it's HILARIOUS. The Simpsons isn't even that funny anymore.
