I just don't know what the other members of the Jacksons do lol.

Katherine? Did she work for them too while in J5 or no? Are they all in music producing? If so, why don't we hear more ?? Joe still in record producing? does any of the brothers work for Joe now????

:mello:

Marlon is into real estate. I think he also owns a store. He's trying to start a museum about the slave trade in Africa. Nigeria I think. Tito has a blues band.

This brings me to my next question: If MJ had some $$ issues throughout whatever time, why couldn't his brothers or sisters, help him out finacially?? If they all are successful business people....

Actually, Randy was the one hiring lawyers and other business men who took Michael's money and not paying his bills. Which is why he got sued so much in 2007 and had to get someone like Thome to help him with Neverland, because Randy was not paying his employees or keeping up the grounds.

So, his family often hurt Michael when it came to business more than helped him in many cases. Just look at people like Oxman and Rowe for further examples of the Jacksons hanging out with the scum of the universe.

Randy brought thomas mesereau on to represent michael , so he helped michael in many ways, some things did not go well, and some of the things you mentioned were not randys fault. neverland problems were already existing it got more complicated by the situation michael was in. michael is still being sued, by lawyer's buinsess partners, etc its these people greed as it was during the trial

Randy was Michael's manager during this time period and was the one who hired these people to look after Michael's affairs when Michael was in the Middle East recovering. While he was gone, they ran up his bills and didn't pay his people off, which is why he was sued.

When Michael got back and tried to sue them and Randy protected his people by counter suing Michael, knowing full well that Michael would not sue him back.

As for Thomas Mesereau, Michael was already trying to hire him when the charges were brought against him. However, he was busy with the Blake case at the time. So, Randy did not play as big of part as many fans would like to believe. Also, during the trail Randy tried to get Michael to sign his ATV away. He also hired people like Oxman who Mesereau eventually fire.

So yeah, most of his family members, namely Randy and Jermaine, brought him more financial grief more than being helpful.

Yup. Mike testified in court that Randy and another man (can't remember the guy's name right now) tried to get him to sign away the ATV during the trial. I remember Mike saying that the other man told him something like 'oh I thought you were down, you're not down' (basically questioning his blackness) when Mike refused to sign the papers. Oxman as far as I know was leaking information.

yes they threatened him to sell it for a cheap price, but Michael had a friend some rich businessman who kept telling him to not sign anything and that guy practically saved him
Jermaine yes he brought Tohme in - but we all know how that ended and we still didn't receive all the answers from this Tohme guy. Jermaine also sent Michael to Bahrain after the trial and that ended in a big mess too with the bahraini prince trying to take advantage of him, you probably still remember the lawsuit. but I remember reading back in 2006 how Michael actually flew from Bahrain to Ireland without saying anything, he just packed and left one day and pretty much fled the scene lol...poor Michael

This brings me to my next question: If MJ had some $$ issues throughout whatever time, why couldn't his brothers or sisters, help him out finacially?? If they all are successful business people....
only janet has big money. other family members dont. and mjs debts were big business debts.its not like aksing you bro to lend you 50 bucks lol

other than marlon who was into real estate no idea what the others do

Do you have video/transcript/any type of reference for this? I'm not questioning the authenicity of your statements, but I'd like to learn more.:D

I jus' learned alot from this thread, and it has nothing to do with what the siblings do.

Rebbie did Vegas for awhile but now is retired, I think

Jackie is mentoring some up and coming artists in LA

Tito is touring the world with his band

Jermaine is being.....Jermaine

LaToya.....look above

Marlon does real estate in Atlanta and is helping out in Africa

Randy....not too sure right now but he seems to be doing just fine right now, according to the brothers, he's helping out with matters with the Estate

Janet...you already know about her career

:no::no::no: Doubtful!!

This is what Randy does: NOTHING! unless you count trying to highjack Michael's estate as a profession. In that case, he should be described as "shenanigans headmaster"

helping out...let's hope he's not "helping out" too much

wow. I wikipedia'd the Jacksons (awhile back) & realize that Michael, compared to the others, is the most normal lol. & it seeems like MJ and Janet are the 2 most successful in just about anything they do ; Good luck to her- let her career strive forward, no matter what Janet does. I want to see her in movies though; she was great in both Poetic Justice (eh) but really good in Nutty Professor.

& just to add to that: It seems like the others are more or less, 'greedy' ppl... Am I right? or no? My mother doesn't like Jermaine because he just is well, greedy and had his 15 mins of fame along time ago... am i wrong???

The only brothers that strikes me as greedy are Jermaine and Randy.

Jermaine because he seems almost ready to do anything for his fame, except sell out the family. Randy is more behind the scenes, but he has been working to get Michael's money for years. Even going as far as to call Michael an addict who couldn't be sound mind to sign his own will.

Toy is also a greedy person who is willing to throw Michael under the bus and back up and do it again for her 15 minutes of fame.

Randy is the one that brought thomas mesereau on thomas mesereau said it himself, michael and randy was working together against these people that were trying to take advantage of michael, randy never counter sued michael, michael never said anything like that but michael released a statement defending randy saying randy never took money from him and he would'nt, randy tryed to help michael and not hurt him, some of these people were greedy, and then the other people like branca was trying to get michael to go bankrupct, these people had there own agenda. oxman was already a family friend that tryed to help out but he got in the way, about the atv catalogue i dont much about that just know randy was trying to help,

I think this poster said it best:

well, Oxman is every where , his claims are documented , he told a tabloid in the uk that HE was the lawyer who brought blanket from a clinic two days after he was born and his mother was a Hispanic woman . he siad the kid was not mj's bio kid that was after mj's death immediately . He previously before MJ's death said Katherine told him " I know a jackson by looking and Blanket ain't no jackson"

Oxman was Randy's lawyer during his divorce battle, when Randy was in charge of mj's business during the trial , he fired all the previous team and hired his own team of accountants and lawyers , contrary to what the fans believe Randy did not bring in T.Mez MJ wanted Mez as soon as he was charged but Mez turned him down because he was representng Robert Blake , he had no time , and when he stepped down from being Blake attorney , MJ & Randy recontacted him , Randy met him and he agreed to be mj's attorney .

regardless, when T.mez was brought in , Randy put Oxman on the list of lawyers representing MJ . re read article written by Mez less than month ago where he talked about "poor skilled attorneies" everywhere around mj during that time trying to push Mez out , one of them was Oxman . He did not name him , but Mez DID fire him during that time, Oxman was fined By the judge and he did alot of stupid things but Randy wanted him in , Mez insisted and he was no longer representing mj in that criminal trial .

Randy's team of attorney's and lawyers got two millions to pay neverland employees and other expenses and bills like the Mikey pharmacy . but the money vanished and the results were lawsuits from everywhere . one of them was from a furniture store mj bought antics there, Randy rehired Oxman to defend mj in that lawsuit because he was still is charge , but when a company which deals with refinancing loans sued mj for 45 $ millions for breach of contract that mj's never signed and he actually never even heard of that company , he knew Randy was behind all of these things .

in the court documents , it was revealed that Randy signed the deal on behalf of mj , MJ did say under oath that Randy and his pal tried to convince him at some point to sell his share in ATV.SONY and that Ron Burkle the billionaire was the one who saved him because he was very desperate at that point during the trial and he got sick of the whole catalouge thing but Ron kept calling him during breaks warning him not to sign on anything whatever .

Mj said Randy and his pal wanted his head when he refused to go by what they told him . MJ did settle the case because Randy was authorised to sign on his behalf and mj was held responsible for that . he ended paying more than 5 millions to them , he also lost alot due to the crazy interest rate I believe it was 18 % . Nevertheless, MJ did fire the accountants and lawyers , and he sued them , Randy supported them and threatened to sue mj and claimed that MJ cheated him out of his money also and run a 700.000 $ on his credit card , and demanded that mj immediately return the money to him .

Oxman also sued mj after the trial for unpaid services and LOST . he disappeared and returned to the stage after mj's death. he immediately started talking about demerol, and that mj was completely drugged up all the time and everyone knew that. then he started talking about the kids .

Thomas mesereau said back then randy was/is his friend they had hung out some randy is who ask him to represent michael, so i believe thomas mesereau, brian oxman said he helped tito and the rest of the brothers court dealings not just randy, i believe brian oxman, he became a family friend since is first case with tito. the credit card situation did not go to court and i dont believe that report that he was taking michael to court over a credit card issue and plus it did not happen , randy did a great thing when he ask thomas mesereau to represesnt michael, randy did not hire oxman to represent michael it was thomas mesereau he asked, oxman was allowed to seat in on the hearing and he got in the way, the team that randy had brought in that cause trouble randy did not side with them, that is why there was never a court hearing with randy supporting them. and every thing randy tryed to do for michael it was to help him and not hurt him, even if you want to believe other wise, there were problems with michael team that is why randy tryed fix it, but most of the people he hired to try to help michael were greedy to.

Jackson drops ex-accountant claim

Pop star Michael Jackson has dropped a lawsuit against an accounting firm he claimed made unauthorised deals.

It is not known whether the singer, who alleged negligence and breach of trust, has agreed a settlement with Bernstein, Fox, Whitman, Goldman & Sloan.

Mr Jackson sued the firm in December 2006 claiming it was late paying taxes he owed, as well as entering into contracts without his permission.

The company attempted to countersue the star but the action was dismissed.

The firm claimed the singer owed nearly $1m (£502,000) in unpaid bills.

Mr Jackson has maintained a low profile since his June 2005 acquittal on child sex abuse charges in California.

His lawyers could not immediately be reached for comment.

Singer says his brother and pal tried to cheat him out of fortune

BY THOMAS ZAMBITO DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER

Sunday, June 17th 2007, 4:00 AM [/B]

Michael Jackson claims he was nearly swindled out of his fortune during his kiddie-sex trial and only the wise counsel of the Rev. Jesse Jackson and billionaire Ron Burkle saved him.

The behind-the-scenes battle over the pop star's finances is detailed in a sworn deposition he gave for a federal lawsuit scheduled to go to trial this week.

There is a possibility that Jackson himself might even be called to testify.

The seven hours of transcripts obtained by the Daily News reveal that the agitated entertainer was convinced his money woes were fueled by a cadre of disloyal advisers who stole from him while he was busy fighting criminal charges.

The Gloved One even fingered a man close to his older brother Randy as a key villain.

It was an ordeal that left Jackson bitter about the industry in which he's spent his entire life.

"It's full of sharks, charlatans and imposters," he said in testimony taken last summer in Paris.

"Because there's a lot of money involved, there's a bunch of schmucks in there," Jackson said. "It's the entertainment world, full of thieves and crooks. That's not new. Everybody knows that."

A Santa Maria, Calif., jury acquitted him of child molestation charges in June 2005, after which he retreated into the seclusion of his Neverland ranch.

But during breaks in the trial, Jackson says he was being pressured to sign off on a multimillion-dollar financing deal by Don Stabler, an associate brought in by brother Randy, his go-to guy on financial matters during much of his career.

Jackson initially took a liking to Stabler after Randy introduced them.

"He reminded me of people that live in mid-America like Indiana," Jackson testified.

Stabler was persistent, at one point during the trial sending a message through one of Jackson's Nation of Islam security guards that questioned the singer's faithfulness to his African-American heritage.

It was a sore point for someone who has denied he purposely lightened his skin.

By then, Jackson had turned to Burkle, the billionaire pal of former President Bill Clinton, for financial help. Burkle brought in Jesse Jackson, who's known Michael Jackson since his Jackson 5 days, to help with the consultation.

Burkle was calling him on the cell phone during bathroom breaks, warning him not to sign anything, Michael Jackson said.

Stabler wasn't happy, Jackson said.

"[Stabler] said, 'What's the problem? You're not down, you're with the Jews now. You're not down with blacks anymore,'" Jackson testified.

"It was unkind," Jackson added. "It was mean. It was meanspirited. It was nasty. Simply because he couldn't get me to sign something that he wanted me to sign."

The next time Jackson saw Stabler "he wanted to take my head off." And his brother Randy wasn't too happy, either.

Randy later claimed that Jackson and his staff had run up a $700,000 bill on his American Express card during the trial, which Jackson said he would repay.

It wasn't the first time that Stabler teamed with Randy in trying to get him to sign off on a deal, Jackson claimed.

At a meeting in a bungalow at the Neverland ranch, Jackson said he had his mother at his side when he fought off another proposal.

"And I vehemently told them, 'No, I am not signing this,'" Jackson recalled. "And I just remember how angry, the intensity of the anger in the room. And so they marched out."

Jackson made his comments when he was grilled by lawyers for the Hackensack, N.J., finance company that is suing the singer in Manhattan Federal Court. The firm, Prescient Acquisition, is owned by businessman Darien Dash, who claims Jackson stiffed his company out of $48 million.

According to Dash's lawyer Steven Altman, Dash was due the money for helping Jackson refinance a $272 million bank loan and secure $573 million in financing to buy out Sony's half of the Beatles' song catalogue that Jackson co-owned.

But Jackson claimed he's never heard of Dash, a cousin of hip-hop impresario Damon Dash, and doesn't remember signing any agreement.

Randy too, has to answer God one day and no, making one good decision (bringing tmez in) and him being a Jackson wont safe him. God will hold him resposible for being an abusive ( beating the life out of his wife when she was pregnant with his child), cheating on his wife (cheated on Eliza with Alejandra and on MJ in terms of financeS) He will be held responsible b/c God will be in charge and not delusional souls.

It was the accounting firm that michael was suing and not randy, randy was not going to court siding with these people it did not happen. about the article the group of people that tryed to swindle money from michael it was'nt randy michael never said that is brother was up to this, michael sent a statement out by raymone bain saying that randy never took any money from him, that means it was a lie who ever put that out. and when michael went with jessie jackson and ron burkle advise he was going against branca advise that he should file for bankruptcy. thats not what michael wanted to do, michael did not take branca advise he took burkle advise

Did you actually read the article, because Michael clearly does blame Randy.

You also seem to like to put some blame on Branca for trying to bankrupt Michael. Problem is, he was named in Michael's will not once but twice in the 1997 and 2002. So, it' s obvious Michael trusted him more than his dear baby brother since he never drew up a new ill. Brance is also the one who paid off the debt of the estate, faster than most predicted. So if he wanted to bankrupt the estate, he is doing a terrible job.

Michael was having serious financial woes at the time. he didn't even have money to pay his bills and one of his major loans was about to default. Randy went out looking for loans to save Mj from defaulting. he secured the loan but the loan was sold without mj knowing about it.
in the mean time, jermaine's friend from Bharain was putting money in grace's bank account to help mj out.

That article is not michael words, michael statement came from raymone bain, so i trust michael statement over that article, and yes i blame branca for trying to get michael to go bankrupt and michael dd not take that advise, michael did not trust branca the people that worked close to michael know that, about that will and a second will, time will tell what the truth is about these wills.

This is sworn testimony in court, so these are Michael's words. Chose to believe him or not, these are in actually court docs and he swore these words in court.

Also, you blame for Brance seems more personally than base on any facts. From what I have seen the people who 'work' close to Michael just want to get into his estate and they are during that by throwing water on Brance.

Michael made it very clear in his wills who he trusted and I doubt someone would bother to forge two wills. But hey, feel free to keep believing what you want. Facts obviously does nothing to change your mind.

Brance got the estate out of debt faster than anyone expecting, so he is doing a poor job on the bankrupt plan. But, this also obviously a moot point for you as well, so I won't bother to waste my breath on you any further.

Sounds just about right. I think it came out in the trial that Michael was having serious problems with money, and their was evidence that he was borrowing money from others to afford his lifestyle and buy things. His financial problems started way before Randy came in.

jermaine's friend from Bharain was putting money in grace's bank account to help mj out.
and then sued him for everything including the haggen das.randy screwed up big time as he was only intrested in the cut he was getting offered by ppl to get mj to sell the cat and take out loans with ppl that were illogical in a business sense.just sums it up when u are on trial fighting for your life and family members are pressuring u to sell off you biggest asset cause they are gonna get a cut from the deal no matter how bad the deal was
