I was looking through the One Rose group pix on Facebook this weekend and saw them delivering the roses to the different charities.
Ronald McDonald house and the LAAids group were two of them.

One van was full of buckets of roses on the way to Katherine Jackson, which was great. They took some roses to Walt Disney's grave also.

Hi everyone hope you all had a great holiday and a Happy New Year...

One Rose has been delivering roses to Forest Lawn on June 25th for 10 years.

After the 10th year anniversary and the incredible showing of love last year, I thought this would be a perfect time for One Rose to take a break.....

There are so many charities that need our help, many are contributing to Taj's documentary and it seems many are celebrating his birthday in Las Vegas as well
as now going to NYC for MJ The Musical...

One Rose for Michael J. Jackson is a huge event with many parts behind the scene as well as social media and the setup and paying it forward... since the 5th anniversary the interest and participation in this event has declined, As there have been other events to contribute to, and many other things that are going on to honor Michael.

After last years almost 19,000 roses delivered to Forest Lawn for the 10th anniversary...I felt this would be the perfect time to take a break and revisit another year...

Thank you all for your Love & support of the One Rose event through the 10 years.....

This is very, very sad news. I don't know why Robyn said interest was declining.....last year's number was the largest ever. To outsiders, it might look as though it's stopped because of the allegations, or that fans are turning away from Michael. I'm sure the media will love to report it that way. I suppose it does have to eventually end, though, because organisers do get tired and have their own lives to live....the 10th anniversary is perhaps as good a time as any. I'll probably still send my own flowers, through the Forest Lawn flower shop.

I have often participated in the One Rose campaign....probably on about five or six different occasions. I've also visited Forest Lawn twice and taken my own flowers to Michael (2011 and 2013).

On some other years, I've sent flowers, through the Forest Lawn Flower Shop. I have done that at different times of the year, not necessarily in June....like August, or December, or January. I like to think that Michael receives flowers all year long from fans....not just in June.

If you call the Flower Shop directly and pay a little extra, they guarantee that they will take your flowers inside of Holly Terrace, to Michael. They take photos of the flowers for you outside of Holly Terrace, before they go inside and they e-mail the photos to you. They'll write a card with your message to Michael, as well - you can dictate your message over the phone, or send it in an e-mail.

I have always found the personnel at the flower shop to be very kind and considerate, sweet and understanding. I remember when I first called, I said that the flowers were for "Michael" and then I realised that I hadn't said which Michael and I felt embarrassed. The girl I was speaking with made me feel completely at ease - she said that she knew it was for Michael Jackson, because of the sound of my voice, when I said "Michael". She said that a lot of fans call up and she always knows immediately who they want the flowers for, because she can hear the love in their voices, when they say his name. How sweet is that?

The 'One Rose' organisers are saying that the Forest Lawn flowershop is closed this year (until further notice). Forest Lawn itself is also closed except for funerals.

It is likely that only 'virtual' memorials for MJ (and U.S. birthday events) will be able to be held this year.

Due to recent restrictions set in place & the shelter in place order, many fans from around the world will not physically be at Holly Terrace. Although we will all mentally and emotionally be there for Michael, we know nothing will take the place of the fans coming together to spend a couple of hours with Michael as done on every previous June 25th. Please donate what you can towards a beautiful bouquet to be set outside of Holly Terrace. Funds need to be set in place by Friday, June 19th, 2020 in order for it to be delivered for June 25th. Same with anything organised by fans for the first time- we don't. This fan is on Twitter with the same name.... I guess folk can dm her if interested?

(The first 'One Rose' money disappeared - it was only from the 2nd collection - organised by different people- that flowers were purchased. All subsequent collections were fine. I don't think the first dishonest organiser was ever heard from again. )

There are risks with everything, unless you know the individual involved. (and I don't- and I am not connected with this Gofundme).

I posted this on twitter but will post here for folks who are looking to send Michael flowers/roses on their own. I've ordered from both websites I have listed in the thread and they were really amazing to talk to on the phone. I especially and highly recommend "honeybeeflowers.com" Please forgive me that this in the format of a thread that I posted on twitter but I hope it helps those wanting to send flowers.

Just wanted to put this out there, if anyone wants to send MJ flowers on their own, there are flower shops in Glendale, Ca. that will deliver to Forest Lawn. Just call them up & inquire about their services. State you want the flowers delivered to the singer MJ & his location.

Here are two flower shops that deliver to Forest Lawn. I was told they would take a pic of the flowers once delivered. They have delivered to MJ before. But I suggest calling/email them for more info & pic being sent to you.

And when she mentioned that they know MJs favorite flower is the "Sunflower" I smiled. 'My Glendale Flowers' said the same thing when I called yesterday. They said fans typically order roses and sunflowers. Ok, I'm done. Just wanted to share this information.
