- In other UK news, Billie Jean was recently certified 2x Platinum for sales/streams of 1,200,000. It becomes Michael's first multi platinum song in the UK. Billie Jean has sales/streams of 1,440,000 so this certification should have happened a while ago.
- Also the Jacksons song Blame It On The Boggie was certified gold recently. It's their first certification in the UK since 2004 (not counting the Jackson 5).
For anyone who cares, in the UK this is how certifications work:
- Platinum: 600,000 (Single) & 300,000 (Album)
- Gold: 400,000 (Single) & 100,000 (Album)
- Silver: 200,000 (Single) & 60,000 (Album)
