Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour ADDITIONAL SEATS
OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 25, 2011) - Additional seats have been released for the October 7 - 9 performances of Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour™ at Scotiabank Place. Tickets are available at www.capitaltickets.ca or www.evenko.ca or by calling 613-599-3267 or 1-877-788-3267. Tickets range from $50 to $250 each.
Cirque du Soleil also announced that Greg Phillinganes, one of Michael Jackson's key creative collaborators on some of his most memorable tours and albums, has joined the Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour creative team as music director, providing an unparalleled depth of knowledge of Michael's music and the live Michael Jackson experience. Phillinganes was music director for Michael's Bad and Dangerous tours and worked on such iconic albums as Off The Wall, Thriller, Bad, Dangerous, Invincible, and the latest release Michael.
Kevin Antunes, one of the industry's top musical designers, will join the creative team as musical designer and will also team with Phillinganes to work on the score for this landmark production. Tell Us how the show went after you see it. I'll do the same. I thought my Tix would be at Madison Square but My Sister bought the Tix for Nassau Coliseum.It's all good,I think The King Deserves a Coliseum for a big Celebration of his life..I wish I had Tiv for both shows.

Congratulations! I want to see the show at MSG too but darn these high ticket prices. Anyway, pardon the potentially dumb question but which seating chart would I select for this show? There are like 30 seating charts for MSG!

Not a dumb question at all. I was confused by the seating chart myself. I saw a drop down menu with many options, from Alicia Keys concert to Ringling Brothers Circus. I didn't go by that seating chart. When I bought my tickets through ticketmaster.com, I let it search for the best ticket available. I ended up getting tickets for the floor section, section C, row 3.

Ha! I don't like clowns. I took my nephew to the Ringling Bros circus when he was very young. It was fun but yikes, expen$ive! I don't know how people with families can afford to take their children anywhere.

I would not go if I have to pay for if with my own money. My company paid for the event. That was the good old days when corporate America had money to spend.

They added 2 more dates for my city and now you can get much better seats than I got for the first show for the same price! This really sucks!

MANDALAY BAY TO HOST 'PERMANENT' MICHAEL JACKSON SITE
Cirque du Soleil, Mandalay Bay and the estate of Michael Jackson announced Wednesday that "an unparalleled and extensive relationship" will be unveiled at a press conference next Wednesday.
"A permanent celebration to The King of Pop in Las Vegas" will be announced, according to a press release.
The three parties announced last November that "The Immortal" world tour would include a Dec. 3-11 engagement at Mandalay Bay.
Wednesday's press conference will open with comments from Jerry Nadel, Cirque's senior vice president of resident shows division before a panel of four representatives fields media questions.
The panel participants will be Daniel Lamarre, President and Chief Operating Officer of Cirque du Soleil, John Branca, co-executor of The Michael Jackson Estate; Jamie King, writer and director of "The Immortal" world tour, and Chuck Bowling, president and chief operating officer of Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.
The tour will begin in Montreal in October 2011 and travel to select North American cities for the first leg.
It is anticipated the rest of the schedule and other cities will be announced Wednesday, along with details of the "permanent relationship" with Mandalay Bay.
