I looked at the index of that Bee Gees biography the other day, looked for Michael. Found a story about the Brits - can't remember the year - but Barry was getting an award. Jarvis Cocker was supposed to present it to him and Barry refused to have him do that. They had to get someone else to hand him the award.

Barry was a friend indeed. JC sucked. That was because of the behaviour of it in 1996 i'd say

I didn't completely disagree with him, actually. Just the fact of him doing it and how he did it but I can understand his basic point.

There was a lot of it about in the mid-90's. All those crappy Brit pop bands felt obliged to take a pop at someone. Liam did it. They all did it.

i hated him, and pulp, hated it and brit pop i avoided all of that i hated it you know the only one i didn't mind was Blur not really Blur but Damon because he had a good vision and extended his artistry into the 2000s with um that thing i can't remeber now :ROFLMAO:

No, I agree with that. Don't interrupt someone else's performance. That's unprofessional and just totally up yourself. I personally don't like the way Earth Song is staged so I can understand JC's feelings to a small degree. But I don't need him to tell me what to think. He's just being pompous.

Didn't hate him but didn't like Brit Pop at all. Including Blur. Saw them very early on. Very energetic. Very boring.

No, I was looking for a pop quiz that Lady S was supposed to have done. Saw a brief mention of it. But I can't find the bugger. This photo popped up and I love it but where her pop quiz is, who knows?

Thing is i was so Americanised , so so Americanised that i never had any time for that. i cut it out completely....in fact it's scary to me just how immersed i was
i only had eyes n ears for m and he was doing history things

DA was um prob the only artist from that whole .... thing ... era, because i couldn't cope with brit pop , i liked kind of Jas and Babylon Zoo and random acts ...kind of hated that 96 onwards time

Well, no, he didn't. I mean, he did that C4 art programme in the late 90's. That's just one thing I can remember. Then in the 2000's he was all over BBC 6 Music.

Anyway, he's boring.
