The Last Person to Post in This Thread Wins

I just finished eating the porridge. Ngl, I did a quickie microwave version. Too hungry to do a long stove-top version. I had it with Scottish heather honey. Very yummy.
❤❤❤
Also, a question: did you see the tribute that Madonna did for Michael in 2009 after he died? She was on tour but managed to put together a very nice little homage to him. I think this new one is better but that's bc she's had time to work out a proper routine. I think it's fabulous although it does make me feel very
I saw it, I saw it! I literally marveled at how it was done! I loved the lyrics from Dangerous. Michael's silhouette gave the perfect effect of his presence. It's so much better than imitators and holograms. And everything was so fun, romantic and I know what made me cry in the last seconds.... Madonna is good! I don't know what there is not to like about it.

Do you not like it? Full disclosure, I'm not that keen on 'proper' porridge and, if I do eat it, then it def has to be made with milk not water otherwise it goes all gluey and 'orrible. My fave is actually Oats So Simple - to the horror of purists everywhere but I don't care. It's quick, it's filling, it's better than Ready Brek. 2 mins in the microwave! Love it.

@Agonum also thanks for the support on the other thread. :) .. i should not have said 'michael monopoly' kind of stupid :(
but ..i certainly did not mean open nl to the public. 😦 🧐🤨☹️🤬😣😩i was so angry yesterday ....... i fear whats coming,

i might think about supporting the other film though...🤫🤔😐🫤
the independent one ,

Seeing neverland being filmed in will be too much ..i am sure of that ...i'm not sure what im doing with any of it. can't process none.

How r you feeling ? You know what that pic looked like @zinniabooklover ? it looked like rice pudding or tapioca with [imaginary ] jam...
it is all a not today mate. subject

Ugh gluey ..don't really like porridge unless it is thin but even so well..... once in a blue moon

@bluemoon7

Am feeling somewhat pensive today. Just found out today that scientists are (possibly) working towards building roads or pathways on the surface of the moon. I think it's so that those lunar rovers they send up there can move around more easily. I don't know if it will definitely happen or when but I wish they wouldn't do these things. :(

This makes me sad. The moon has been a source of peace and comfort for me all my life, I want it to be left alone tbh.

I feel the same. Of course I understand why humans do this stuff. We are adventurous creatures and we have those big old brains that are constantly asking questions and thirsting for new knowledge. But I wish we would just rein it in, just sometimes. I don't actually want the human footprint on every last corner of the universe, thank you. I want a few corners to be left undisturbed. Especially the moon.

I didn't read the story in full. I was too disheartened. So I don't know exactly what they have in mind. But I'm not happy about it.

Well girls that's not good news in fact , that is worrying. Because it is a step closer to making visiting / living there a reality.

Many space agencies including Nasa have plans to establish semi-permanent bases on the Moon, which would both allow us to better study it but also serve as a stop off on the way to Mars and elsewhere in the solar system.

nope

Yeah. Can't remember if it was the same news item or a different one but there was a scientist going on about humans possibly living on - think it was Mars he was talking about. Apparently bc Mars (if it even was Mars) is in the same area of space (forget the technical term he used, possibly the word 'orbit' was in there somewhere) as planet earth, it means it should be possible to adapt to life over there.

I'm not up for this at all.

Yes i have seen they have been hinting this a number of times now

Same babe
It is like they are using the moon for a bus stop It actually hurts to think about this.

oh, god, that's a brilliant way of putting it. I mean, it's a fkn depressing way of putting it but it's also brilliant bc that is EXACTLY what it feels like only I didn't have the vocab. That is totally what the fkrs are doing.

Bloody humans!

And you are right. It does hurt. Loads.

@Agonum I was surprised yesterday. There was a car near my work that had the Swedish flag painted on the back of the side mirrors. I've never seen such a thing before. Is it a tradition?
No, it is not a tradition! Nationalist? But wait, you’re in Russia! What kind of madness is that – a Swedish (radical) nationalist stationed in Russia? Oh, the humanity!
