The Last Person to Post in This Thread Wins

What is that
The Ladder? It's a Prince song. I've posted 2 versions on the Prince thread. The last one was him doing a really gospel-y, preaching version live. I love it. He's really preaching. So it's been in my head for a few days. It keeps popping back in there. The first version I posted was him at the piano. The preaching version, he's at the mike in front of his audience. No idea which gig, I didn't bother to check.

Let me quote you a little bit from the article, to give you the context.

"A few years ago, my publisher, Farshore, came across an article deep in our archives. It was a 1966 interview ... with Daphne Milne, A.A. Milne's wife and Christopher Robin's mother. In it, she reminisced about Milne taking a small toy dog called Carmen with him when he served in the First World War ... The mascot was intended to bring him luck. He did indeed survive the war ... I immediately knew there was space in the Forest for a new female character, Kanga being the only one in the original stories. Carmen, in my mind, would be a very brave little dog ... To mark her bravery, I had the idea of this dog longing to be a lion - which is why she doesn't bark ... she roars."

Thank you!
I'm a little confused. It was interesting to hear about the continuation of the Winnie the Pooh story. But I can't find it. A lot of information about the horror movie and very important news: the bear will have a chainsaw))))))
Here's what I found:
The House at Pooh Corner is a 1928 children's book by A. A. Milne and illustrated by E. H. Shepard. This book is the second novel, and final one by Milne, to feature Winnie-the-Pooh and his world. The book is also notable for introducing the character, Tigger.

But I think I'm wrong

"Everybody's looking for the ladder
Everybody wants salvation of the soul
The steps you take are no easy road
But the reward is great"
lyrics by Prince

Oh i must check that out ...i hate that thread :ROFLMAO: because i am bashing him at the start of it i think. 🤔
So it's been in my head for a few days.
Graffiti Bridge has been in mine. I can appreciate that now. The whole of his theatrical side interests me the most i think -because i llove Tora Tora and Camille ,Christopher , & The Kid. The characters he played/created. Those are top notch 2 me now
It keeps popping back in there.
Yep I get it Zin lol

Yes i remember now ...the lovely piano video! not the song title though that threw me :ROFLMAO:

That bit I quoted is from a book by Jane Riordan called, 'Winnie-the-Pooh: Tales from the Forest'. Published on Sept 28th. The Daily Telegraph did a big excerpt but it was exclusive. I can't find much at all in the other daily papers. Jane Riordan was asked to do this sequel, presumably by the AA Milne estate. The article doesn't say why they wanted a sequel. Unless they wanted to have the sequel already in place ahead of the 100 year anniversary of the first book in 2026. 🤔
