but if you search for Leigh Bowery, Michael Clark will always come up bc they worked together so much in the 80's. So I ended up posting Michael C. instead of Leigh. But you started it, lol.

The man was a freakin' god. I mean, he was a d**khead but he was also a god. He was awesome to behold. Fabulous choreographer, wonderful dancer, he had the most beautiful line I have ever seen on any dancer, ever. He was exquisite. He could stand on stage and not move and I was mesmerised. He always picked brilliant dancers for his company and he was amazingly generous with the choreography he would create for them but it was always very difficult to watch them if he was onstage at the same time. You just HAD to watch him and no-one else.

He was a naughty boy so he crashed and burned but while he was flying, he was beautiful.

Well , from that picture alone you can tell how on point he is. ive not actually watched him but you can deff get mesmerised by his presence- like i did a few bloomin moments ago thanks 2 zin posting that and made me all doo lally lol and that was just a pic- think of the damage we could cause with a vid of his artistry

Actually, I never felt his work translated to screen terribly well. The first couple of times I saw him was on tv and I was deeply unimpressed. I mean, seriously was like, wtf? What IS all the freakin' fuss about this guy. However, I did see his beautiful line. Just for a couple of seconds. So his next show comes up and I thought, well, if the only thing he's got to offer me is his beautiful line, I'll take it bc I've never seen anything like it. So off I went with very low expectations and the man just blew my fucking head apart. Totally annihilated me (definitely using that word in a silly way but I have to, lol. How else to explain the impact?).
