Being serious for a moment, I do actually think it's really important to spell correctly, to use punctuation properly etc. Rules are great and are necessary and it feels so nice when you break them deliberately, for effect. You can achieve so much more when you know the rules and you know when and how to break them. It doesn't mean you are being anal or pedantic. It just means you love language and respect it. If you read widely and you know how a sentence should be written you will get so much more enjoyment out of it. I promise.
That said, I do think Agonum takes it a little too far sometimes. Also, he
might be doing it in a jokey way but I'm unsure.

@Agonum. No offence but I think sometimes picking up on people's spelling mistakes or typos isn't always helpful. People come on the board to relax and have fun (not everyone, not always, but mostly, I think). I don't think they are necessarily open to a grammar lesson on an MJ msg board.
Just my two cents. Other opinions are available, of course.
