November is my month but I don't think it has any pagan hoo-ha going on and I was being all pagan with my posts. I'm not a pagan, btw, just a heathen.

November does have 2 important Christian days:

All Saints' Day is Nov 1 and All Souls' Day is Nov 2. A Solemnity in the Roman Rite of the Catholic Church, a Festival in the Lutheran Churches, and a Principal Feast of the Anglican Communion. I like these days as moments to pause and remember people. Not bc you wouldn't remember them at other times - you absolutely would, of course - but I like these autumnal memorial days. tt's a quiet time of year so it works well, imo.

Now this reminds me of the staircase that Cinderella had to run down in the Russian animation that @hope posted. That was one long staircase the girl had to run down while the clock was striking midnight.
