Yeah, you should. Boots are / were awesome. I have never known a single person who had bootlegs that didn't also spend a ton of money on official stuff.

Funny thing is, I didn't actually tag you bc it never occurred to me you would know our Cynthia. I mentioned you bc I was basically saying, "here's a clip I like but I don't think mj777 is going to like it. It's more of a 'me and wend' thing". But not thinking you actually knew what I was talking about, iyswim.

Anyway, my brain has processed everything and there will now be peace throughout the land. I hope!

Yes! Especially bc @filmandmusic puts films before music. I think he's buried underneath those old film reels. He's in here somewhere ...

And just bc not everyone wants a crazed looking Sissy Spacek on Sunday morning, let me bump @hope 's post with this lovely little Cinderella animation. It's a beautiful piece of work, imo.

Also, it's a useful reminder to myself that I want to go and look for the longer (17 mins?) version. :)

You've moved on, babe. Not me. I'm still thinking about my book of folktales. And the Baba Yaga. And other suchlike things. I'm going to be in that headspace for a while yet.

Btw, if you think you can come up with anything scarier than the Baba Yaga, all power to you.
