It's true some people get upset about that. Other people focus on the fun / fundraising part. I'm neutral but the photo is cute. The thing I get worked up about is people releasing balloons. I really don't like that.Horrific. Plastic waste.

They really should consider a new arrangement. If you’ve read up on microplastics, you should rightfully find it hard to see it as fun or cute.
Having said that, I’m not informed on the full context here. Still, I do think there are better ways to fundraise. And I’m beyond frustrated about how people can turn a blind eye when it comes to this.
(This is not directed at you, by the way. Don’t read it like that!)
