Tea with milk? YIKES!!!Here we go, hot x buns and a nice cup of tea.
That's how we do it in the UK. We've been doing it that way since at least the 18th century, afaik.Tea with milk? YIKES!!!
I prefer black tea with little to no sugar; adding milk to it distorts its flavour imo. In case of coffee, it has to be black with nothing added. But I do like hot chocolate with milk though. That's how we do it in the UK. We've been doing it that way since at least the 18th century, afaik.

I'm actually not a tea drinker, lol. I sometimes drink herbal tea but not 'ordinary' tea. The controversy over milk isn't about using milk in tea - that's normal over here in the UK - but about whether it should go in the cup before the tea or after. People get very agitated about this.I prefer black tea with little to no sugar; adding milk to it distorts its flavour imo.
I know lots of Americans put cream in their coffee. For me that's justIn case of coffee, it has to be black with nothing added.

Tea is cool. So much to say about it. Gets to Europe circa mid-1500's. Gets to Britain circa mid-1600's. Starts off as purely medicinal. And is restricted to the upper classes to begin with. Of course it was, lol. And that's all I'm saying. @Agonum is about to blow a gasket, lol.,@Agonum is being too angry about that zin is teaching us about the history of tea
