Agreed. Michael obviously doesn't have any plans to tour with them anytime soon, so they should just go without him. They are all talented, Jermaine especially, and have enough of a solid fan base that they could do well without Michael. I don't know why they keep holding out for Michael. It's obvious he wants to do his own thing. It aint like they're getting any younger tho lol, so they need to make a move already.

The Jacksons had perfect opportunities to continue to record and perform w/o Michael but they use him as an excuse as to why they can't continue their career together and also the fact that CBS Records refused to promote "2300 Jackson St." despite Michael's full-blown support of that particular album.
 
I really would like a return of the Jacksons, more that a return of Michael Jackson, I dislike strongly his last albums since Bad, his solo tours (playback, pathetic dancers, the ridiculous false Jermaine, horrible costume, everything suck except Sheryl Crow imo) and his recent choices (modern rnb etc...).
I think that Jermaine is one of the greatest singer in the show-bizz, he is way better that all the recent rnb singers (crap like Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown and Usher), Randy and Jackie are great and talentuous song writer( your ways, time wait for no one, one more chance, wait etc...), it could very cool if they comeback together, 2300 Jackson street is a cool album, "Maria" is a very strong song (I find that better that "whatever happen" in the same style), for example with Rebbie (the most talentuous sister imo) and Jermaine in lead vocal would be amazing.

I don't remember or see Michael help the Jacksons to promote 2300 Jackson street, somebody have a proof of that or it's again just a rumor ? Because for what I read about this album (articles, interview etc...), he do nothing for to help them.

watch the 2300 jackson street video. if u dislike mj so much why are u here. mj had his own career why should he have taken part in promo for an album that he wasnt involved in?. the same as marlon who wasnt really involved in the album either. u gonna bitch on him as much as mike? guess not cause mj is the cash cow,

I have never say I dislike him, I'm big fan of his first part of his career (1969-1986 include Captain Eo), Bad is a correct album, but I don't like his others works, but it still a great artist, it's just his new sound is not in my style and my tastes, for 2300 Jackson street I never say that he should have do the promo, in fact like you said it's not his albums but the album of his brothers, but some peoples in the forum have said that he help them for to promote the album with CBS, for what I have know, I don't see that, it's for that I have asked if they are a proof or it's just a rumor.

For his tour, I don't like that, it's not for that I'm against him, I just think he deserve better for his own tours, I just give my opinion exactly like lot of Michael Jackson fans when they say that the Jacksons without Michael have no talent.

Sorry if you don't like, but it's just my point of you.

Talent doesn't sell tickets or records, if that was the case Jill Scott would be just as popular as Miley Cyrus. Maybe they should do a Vegas show like they did in the 1970s. Toni Braxton & Elton John (among others) have done engagements there in the past few years. Janet is having problems (as far as music is concerned), and she's the 2nd most popular sibling. Jermaine's albums aren't even in print, so how is he going to be a draw for a tour?
 
He's not. They need Michael. They need him, but he doesn't need them. That's the bottom line, and the question really wasn't would you like to see a Jackson family show without Michael, it was could they make it without Michael, and the answer to anyone with working brain cells is no.
 
If they brothers, without Michael made new music and didn't perform the old ones that they did with Michael, then i believe they can be a success, especially here in the UK.

That's if they work REALLY hard to hook up with modern producers...not to mention that the standard is not that high nowadays anyway.
