Hey guys. Just to let you all know that I will be working with Marty to deliver the Megavideo links of the full Jackson Dynasty episodes each week. Each week Marty will update post number 3 with the latest episodes. I will strive to get them up as quickly as possible so they will be up either Monday morning GMT or Monday evening GMT. These links will work for everyone, they are not restricted by country.

He did not become lead-obsessed after MJ passed. I am sure it is something that has been bugging him for years. Because he was originally the lead until that 5 year old kid came along. LOL.

How can Jermaine say he wasn't jealous of MJ, when it is obvious he has been yearning for the spotlight so badly?

Those first two episodes confirm that Jermaine & Michael were not close.

Even though I am not a fan of Jermaine, I do not see how these episodes show that he wasn't close with Michael. The only relationship that was expanded on was Jacky's brotherly bond with Michael. Namely keeping Michael together when Jermaine left as well as he break down when talking about Michael's passing.

Although, Jermaine was shown to be kind of a brat. Which is strange since he is one of the producers, so I did not see why he would show himself in that light. Maybe he wanted to appear more 'real' out of all the brothers.

Notes about these online replay links:
a.) While other links are blocked to international fans, these links are evidently working for fans outside the USA.
b.) If you're getting any error message preventing playback, PM me with the country you're from and I'll try to incorporate you're playback issues at Post #3.
c.) My impression is that these links are temporary so take advantage of them now, before they get taken down.
d.) Some of you fans are using an internet on-screen video grabber (like keepvid), and it would be nice if someone could capture these 2 episodes (in the simple .mpg format) and upload them so if others wanted to they could download a personal copy for their portable players, or personal video archives.

I don't think Mj started out as lead singer of the group. I think he started like Randy, playing bongo. Jermaine continued to be the lead singer of the group until Mj was about 8 or 9 years old. the 2 also shared the lead. Which worked very well for the group. There are a number of songs on Youtube which jermaine sang Lead in. my Girl is one of them. Mj said he got his skills from Jermaine.

are you sure? because the audition pics and tape at Motown clearly show MJ as the frontman.

oh thanks! but those aren't downloadable, right? once you watch and close the window, they're gone? can I save them somewhere for re-watches?

Nope, those are just stream links. Downloads for the episodes should be in the 2000 Watts section. We're just dealing with streams here

the audition was much longer than what they showed on on tv. there were a number of renditions and Jermaine and the brothers performed too.
Mj started out as a bongo player within the group before they went to motown. If you watch the J5 cartoons there is an episode with Mj as the bongo player. in the beginning Mj's voice was not strong and his pronounciation was still not properly formed. He still had the baby voice when he sang Big Boy.
Jermaine was lead singer in the beginning, but when they signed to motown Jermaine was 14 and had a croaky vioce. his vioce was obviously changing. it was much better to have the smoother perfect vioce that Mj had a the time, also, mj was still cute, as he was still a child.
however, both jermaine and Mj shared lead in much of J5 songs and they fed off each other and obviously enjoyed it.

when he was young he played the bongos but as soon as he showed his talent as a singer he took over as lead singer.from jermaine hence names like the ripples and the waves plus michael as they were known at the begining.he didnt suddenly become lead singer at the motown audion as some would like to imply. watch footage/look at pictures of them from b4 they signed to motown appearing at local talent shows etc to see that

In the final analysis, MJ was the lead singer. He was the lead for a reason. Go to the Jermaine Jackson site and give him his props while over here we will give MJ his. I'm really trying not to be sarcastic but it is difficult.

In the time where the media did not move as fast as it does today, Michael reached a lot of people. Not just one market segment. He shattered that theory of segmenting your market and only appeal to them. He appealed to whites, blacks, asians and some races we have never heard of. Not only that he appealed to different generations. He bridged that gap. The people that did not like MJ was still in awe of him. The people that did not like his music loved him the person. So there was something very special about him. I love his family. They have their place in history too, but they are not Michael. He was just different in a loving powerful way. Please give him that much. I will continue to watch the show if I am not to depressed. It does make me miss him even more. **Tears**

Where is it belittling to say the truth about their history? Mj started in the group as a bongo player. Mj is very proud of his history and he has often told this story himself. he even played bongo on some of his albums.

When I read to which extent certain posters go to defend/declare their undying love for the family in doing so they insult, belittle, hate and degrade MJ in every way possible, I don't know whether to laugh or to cry, b/c they really seem to believe what they say. Which is the SADDEST part.

Clap. Clap. Clap. I suppose to defend MJ's legacy to the outside non-fan world. Most of my time is defending him on his own fansite. Ridiculous. Back on topic. I love the way Tito says what is on his mind. He reminds me of a crazy uncle that like to have fun.

Michael was the CENTER ATTRACTION OF THE GROUP, u see ur beloved family FLOP like they have never FLOPPED before (if even possible). Now that the focus has gone the family will be overshadowed by his kids in no time. Must say I feel sorry for them.

To be honest its nice to see what they are really like and I have to say I think Jackie is a lovely guy he seems the most genuine of the lot.

I can understand jermaine being jealous of mike. in the show, he showed a lot of mixed emotions when it came to Mike. so much envy, jealousy, resentment, love, guilt writ large in his face. the man's a mess. I wish him well though. he does have talent in the form of a mellifluous soul voice. he should get his due if he hasn't already.

but he'll never be Michael Jackson. and I think he knows it. and he knows the group will never be the same. hence, his instinctual retreat from group-related activities. I think he feels that his only chance to shine would be on his own, away from MJ's ever-increasing shadow. can't blame the man.

Yes, I agree , Jackie is a sweetheart and seems to be most genuine one out of all of them. He also seems to be sensitive like his brother I like him very much.

yes he seems very sensitive and has a nice soft voice, btw just noticed Jermeine is wearing an Ireland shirt in the first episode :dancin: :clapping::clapping::clapping:
