Youtube's limit is only 10 minutes so it doesn't allow long uploads unless you have a special channel.

Lol, reading through this thread is a trip. So much Jackson hate. Any time one of the brothers shows any sign of being proud of their own success in the J5, they are apparently disrespecting Michael.

That's right, but that guy have a special channel. I mean, there are only four 10-min. pieces of show, but may be anywhere must be more. And just because I ask is there anywhere more?

Would their be any interest in any of Michael's brothers, if Michael hadn't left us? Nope. I really do hope that its was just these episodes and this does not continue any farther.

And no, I'm not hating on them for doing this..I just think it's horrible timing..

Michael Jackson, the greatest entertainer of all time has died. Then, 6 months later his brothers are on reality TV?

I have no problem with them doing this kind of thing, all of them loved Michael deep down, but the timing is just horrible in my opinion of course. If you enjoyed it, then more power to ya :p but I can't watch this kind of thing yet

Am I the only one who felt as if, I'm unsure how to explain this so forgive me, but I felt as if this is in a way Michael's show, and A&E and the Jackson Brothers are using Michael as a way to keep viewers.


There was mention of Michael for almost the entire program, and to be honest, I didn't really care for the show until Michael was mentioned. Am I alone in thinking this way?

You're not alone - but also understand, Michael is the lead vocalist of J5 & Jacksons, despite what Jermaine wants the world to think. He's also their baby brother. He's also the biggest and best entertainer the world has seen & heard.

It's VERY HARD to see the brothers together without MJ.

I'd like to see what Jackie, Tito & Marlon have in store. We know that Jermaine will always be thinking about himself first, second & third.

But I like this new Jacksons - and if you recall, the TII single recorded the Jacksons as the background vocalists and they sound really good.

So MJ's death/life/contributions is like the elephant in the room regarding the reality show.

People know it's THERE, but have to work around it.

I'd rather it be like that versus capitalizing on MJ's death, which is how originally is was pushed as, and the MJ3 supposedly appearing in it too.

Like I said earlier in the thread, I give the show it a B.

i dont agree or so many wouldnt have watched this program. i think they are grasping on to the boys to feel close to michael like the lawyer said . i just hope jermaine cools down a little , i would hate to see the show end

The thing I like most abuot the show is that being that I am a younger fan, I finally have the oppurtunity to see the brothers act and respond to one another and not just base it off of other people's interpretations. And well I gotta say, alot of fans have been giving the brothers alot of flack. Ya'll made them out to be demons who were out to consume Michael whole without regard to him as a person. Now, i ain't tryna undermine how peeps feel about the brothers, but jus' like everyone else there's mroe to they character than they have been given credit for.

I wish the brothers all the best in their future endeavors.

Agree. Lose/Lose situation. There's no handbook that outlines the entire grieving process for every single human being. Eventually, the family has to get back into some kind of routine, i.e. go to work! lol. It's pretty clear that some people forget what this family does for a living. They entertain.

Yes, that's what I thought, extremely scripted with a lack of spontaneity.

I wish they could just be themselves, like MJ always was, which is what kept millions and millions of people interested.
Then, I'm sure they wouldn't have to try so hard.

It makes me laugh as I read an article that said Tito Jackson now changes car tyres for a living! He is clearly doing very well and living a rich lifestyle.

The most spontaneous & refreshing of all the brothers is MARLON.

LOVE his charm, wit & genuineness.

I hope Marlon gets some kind of talk show after this - he was FUNNY!!

I agree but at the same time, they had been talking about a reunion for a loooong time now ( without Mike that is bc he wouldn't agree to it) and like you said, the timing was just off bc of what happened.
I personally was never really interested in any of the Jacksons aside from Mike (and Janet a little bit). But it was interesting to see them interacting and seeing their different personalities.
I'm curious to see how long they'll be able to keep the show or if they'll get canned if the public interest drops.

I agree, however I think they are all interesting, I've seen unofficial footage of them from years ago and they just have such a sense of humor and naturalness about them, I was hoping to see the same on the reality show but boy was I wrong... but all in all, I think they were playing it too safe here, they restricted themselves in a sense. It was just too dramatic at times. Nothing was free flowing, it was from one theme to the other, I practically predicted every upcoming scene.

sidenote-I think Tito's funnier and more interesting than he appeared too. IDK, I think I have a fondness for tito lol.

Wonder how it would have been with Randy or Joe in the picture?
Just wondering.

He didn't just appear out of the blue in 1982. There was a history.
Yes, Michael did excellent in his own right but it ALWAYS and WILL ALWAYS come back to the family.

They ARE a part of the legacy. They ARE the legacy.
And from what I'm seeing of this show so far they are representing quite well. I worried about them doing this project for fear of exploitation but this is turning out better than I thought.

I wish fans would quit seeing Michael as if separate from his family. If Michael was here, he'd straighten you out on that himself.
