I think it would be a waste to dump a fully-finished, un-leaked track onto a reissue. Save it for a proper album.
Steve Porcaro doesn't want the song to be remixed and he wants it to be released in either anniversary or deluxe albums, the Estate had no interest in doing that for Xscape's deluxe edition and I don't think they'd ever want to release songs in proper albums without altering them. Anniversary albums is the only way the song can be released.I think it would be a waste to dump a fully-finished, un-leaked track onto a reissue. Save it for a proper album.
Just remember, T25 had For All Time on it - despite it being recorded for Dangerous. It would make no sense. In that case it would be a Bad outtake.
But hey, the estate’s reasoning is something else…
yeah, mj’s logic for releasing remixes and one random track is not something we should take in consideration lolJust remember, T25 had For All Time on it - despite it being recorded for Dangerous.
Do you have a time stamp for it?The whole collection has gone.
Just the Monster snippet in the Immortal soundtrack now.
In the Is It Scary/Threatened track.Do you have a time stamp for it?
How do you know that? Can you post some evidence, link or something with a source? You are saying that on June 27, 2009 Eddie Cascio had whole 12 songs written and recorded by James Porte? Those same titles sold to Estate as Bible album? Please explain this. As far as I know only few of those 12 songs existed in 2009 - like Soldier Boy, Keep Your Head Up and some others. Definitely not all 12 titles with all lyrics and music.June 27th Mj Songbook contains all the songs.
This doesn't list the number of songs and their title.
Fans have been to the US copyright office and listened to everything registered by Cascio and Porte. So yes is the answer to your question. How do you know that? Nothing was ever sold to the estate under the name “Bible”.
The Ultimate Fan Extras Collection needs to be on Spotify. The Ultimate Fan Extras Collection is back on itunes minus the three Cascio tracks.
DITTO!The Ultimate Fan Extras Collection needs to be on Spotify.
How does this even help?Thank you to those who never stopped fighting.
Thank you to those who can admit they were mislead.
Thank you for calling out those who will never do so.
An honorable mention goes to those who intentionally refused to listen to all 12 songs and could have easily made a difference back then.
Now let's celebrate!
Thank you for leaving this thread up front even though it is technically not permitted to discuss Cascio in this section (according to the forum rules).
It helps to understand what kind of ignorance people had to fight against to spread the truth. How does this even help?
The closest confirmation we ever received was one of his former vocal producers saying that, in his opinion, Jason was the vocalist. Was it ever confirmed that the vocalist was Jason Malachi?
The lawyer thing isn't confirmation? The closest confirmation we ever received was one of his former vocal producers saying that, in his opinion, Jason was the vocalist.
Beyond that, we haven’t received any concrete information either way.
The lawyer thing? The lawyer thing isn't confirmation?
Jason's own lawyers confirmed it was him. This was revealed a long time ago.The lawyer thing?
michael does not sing those songs. and that's that. no need for a 50 lines paragraph@StellaJackson:
I'll repeat myself from many years ago: It's ok to fight for what you believe to be right in an appropriate way without segragating those who do not join you on your cause or do not share your point of view.
However as it has been said a long time before, too: It doesn't help your cause if you simply exaggerate. There's no confirmation whatsoever. Jason's lawyers were simply arguing he should be paid, that's just a funny legal argument. You do not provide the context and you do not disclose what you have described. Theft of a deceased person's identity is prosecutable under US law (eg in California). Lawyers aren't stupid enough to do such a thing for their client as you have just claimed again.
Those familiar with the matter do know that the forensic report has its flaws. When you contest an expert opinion, you take another expert opinion. In this case no expert opions were compared.
You make it look like it's all proven when that is not the case. This is not how history books are written. You should know better.
First of all it sounds exactly like Jason. Second, his recording engineer and producer who recorded all of his vocals for his own album, Tony Kurtis said it's 100% Jason. Just imagine if Bruce Swedien said something like that for Michael. That's credibility. And third, Jason Malachi said it was him on his official Facebook page and then deleted the post saying his account was hacked. Was it ever confirmed that the vocalist was Jason Malachi?
Could you share this confirmation? I’ve never seen it.Jason's own lawyers confirmed it was him. This was revealed a long time ago.
There is also a detailed forensic report from one of the world's leading forensic audiologists that concludes it's him.

#edit: Jason's FB/Twitter/myspace etc. accounts were infact hacked, the hacker bragged about it and was quite talkative about the message he had put up. Please retain to facts, thanks.
