You know how we feel about the hell MJ went through on earth.. well it must be tremendously hard for his family, they were close to him and know more examples of his sweet kind nature. To hear the things the press say must torture them so much. They probably don't read it all, but they'll know whats going on.
Really, I have to say this angle is the one that pains more than anything else about Michael's loss. My own just fades away when I contemplate this torture they experienced for what, FIFTEEN YEARS!
I find it nearly unbearable to even think about so much pain among his family. Most people can compartmentalize it away, not have to be confronted with it often. These people can NEVER escape, have been incessantly bombarded, can't so much as turn on the TV, the radio, the Internet, go see a comedy show, pick up a magazine, pass the racks at the grocery store, or simply be hanging around people who don't know who they are.
SO outrageous. I got the distinct impression that the pivotal moment in their change of tone toward MJ was hearing Paris speak at the memorial. Before then they were able to turn off their own humanity, and dismiss the effect on real human beings of unfounded allegations and astoundingly cruel jokes.
Not only that, but it cast a cloud over all them personally, however unfairly, and their own personal lives and careers were undoubtedly harmed.
The media and many others have much to atone for.
