Susan Boyle from Britains Got Talent!

Signature were better!!! And if they were white they would of won!!!!

Boyle is overrated!!!

well..lol..i'm black and i don't worry about that stuff. there are many ways to make it in the music business, and tho those talent shows don't necessarily highlight a lot of black acts, MJ is proof that the music business, itself is not a discriminating business. i don't feel threatened by who wins those competitions. the reality is, Susan Boyle has a magic about her, right now. race really isn't the issue.

i disagree as well...

Signature had a nice act and the first time it was a suprise but thats about it.

i love watching her first performance when she surprised the dickens outta everyone. it kinda makes me emotional especially when the woman on the panel speaks so honestly. and i love that they showed the audience's reaction to her before she started to sing and how they were all so condescending. that first note she opened up with, and everyone's mouths just fell open. and i just love her personality to bits. goes to watch it again.

yep. that entire episode WAS the X factor. kudos to the cameramen, for showing us the evolution of an X factor, by including all audience reactions, and the progression of the moment.

edit. she is the runner up. again, the debate continues. which is better on these shows...winning or being runner up?

Susan Boyle has reportedly been rushed to the Priory following her shock defeat in the Britain's Got Talent final.
The Scottish star was taken on Sunday night to the private clinic after show staff contacted police to say she was acting strangely at her London hotel, according to The Sun.
Officers were called to assist and Susan was reportedly taken by ambulance to the Priory in Southgate, north London, escorted by police.
A Scotland Yard spokeswoman said: "Police were called to doctors assessing a woman under the Mental Health Act. The woman was taken voluntarily by ambulance to a clinic. At the request of doctors, police accompanied the ambulance."
Television company talkbackThames released a statement offering her "ongoing support" amid newspaper reports that she had run amok backstage after her loss shouting "I hate this show".
Show winners Diversity expressed sympathy for her situation.
"I feel for her because she had a lot of hype around her and she didn't ask for it," Ashley Banjo, the group's leader and choreographer, told ITV's This Morning.
"We're a group and we're a very close group, so we've got each other, whereas Susan and the other solo acts are kind of there on their own in the limelight."
Chris Thompson, chief medical officer at the Priory, said: "The fact that Susan Boyle appears to have broken down in some way so close to the end of the series certainly suggests that there is a link."
He did not confirm that Susan was staying at the clinic.

:(

Get well soon Susan.

I feel this was such a tough competition. All that were involved were extremely talented. Esp Ms. Boyle. I hope she gets better soon also.

Well I'm so trilled that Susan came to the sec place on "Britanins Got Talent" I mean she's so sweet even her voice is so amzing. But I'm glad that she wons the sec place on Britanins Got Talent! Well done Susan.

man...my knee jerk reaction is disbelief cus it's the Sun. but if this is true, i hope and pray she'll be alright.

The music industry as a whole today is more about image than any actual talent...

If Susan Boyle happens to record an album, riding on her TV talent show success, I'm sure it would be moderately successful.

However, it would only be short term, as I said before, the music industry today is all about image, and Mrs. Boyle appears to have been hit in the face with a shovel! :mello: Therefore, her possible success would only be with the 40 and over crowd, which these days, doesn't mean sh*t...

Also, did you know? That when Susan Boyle was born, her Doctor took one look at her face, one look at her @$$ and exclaimed: "Oh My God! Siamese twins!!"...

WTF is your problem? Grow up.

Lol!...The truth hurts doesn't it Stacey!? :)

I suppose I was a bit harsh on her, however, the point I made is still valid. I'm not taking anything away from her actual talent, but as her voice being the only thing that's able to be sold commercially, she more than likely will struggle out on today's music scene.

i LOVE the irony of this Susan Boyle character, in that her looks are in fact what made her famous. shyte singer. i actually wanted to hear that she won so i can crap harder on Cowell's Got Britain. but alas...

fickle, fickle masses. all they need is some melodramatic Hollywood plot and camera work coupled with a string section and they're locked in.

Umm...no? I just find you incredibly rude. Does it make you feel big to insult someone on an internet forum, whom you don't even know? Not to mention she's not mentally well - not that that should even come into it, but that's just the lowest of the low imo. Insulting someone's looks is so unnecessary, and it can really hurt and damage a person. I guess you think you're being clever and funny though, so why I'm wasting my time on this post I don't know. Why so much hate? That's all I'm gonna say.

the great thing about music is, it's bigger than all of us. non discriminatory, and there are ten million ways from sunday to make it in the industry. some that people don't even know of. that's why it survives and is recession proof, despite what the critics say.
